as we said Persian gulf make havoc with sonar jagged shore , shallow sandy bottom are not sonar friendly at all , and we painted them so that they are harder to detect from sky and thousands of years of shipwrecks and junks thrown in Persian gulf make detection with magnetic anomalies a lot harder
