I dont get "Possesses one of most capable militaries in the Middle East". Why not say the "Possesses one of most capable militaries in Asia" instead? You have only got 5 strong militaries in the Middle East: Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt and Israel. It is not that impressive considering that Saudi Arabia also "Possesses one of the most capaple militaries in the Middle East". It should be "Iran possesses one of most capable militaries in Asia" instead.

Airforces in modern times mean less when Iran has the largest Drone fleet in the region. Our MALE UCAV and Loitering drone systems will destroy enemy AD batteries while our GRV-BM and LRCM will destroy their airbases like how we bombarded Americans and are destroying Saudi military credibility for last 4 years. Saudis with their largest AF in the entire region can not stop Iranian onslaught. Can you explain why ?

Iran has immunized herself from direct U.S attack by developing the means to knock out U.S bases and naval fleets in our region while having one of the smallest military budgets in the region. Iran's army and air force may be outdated in terms of armour and aircraft but they are still more than capable of dealing with ANY of our neighboring countries if they were ever stupid enough to want to start a conflict against Iran.

The US military is an extremely professional force. They tend to over estimate the enemy in order to go above and beyond. This leads to higher standards of training, weapons capability, strategizing, etc... in the end they tend to absolutely destroy the enemy because they are fighting at a higher expected baseline.

Now compare that to Indians who often under estimate the capabilities of Pakistan/China significantly only to get their arses handed to them

What you said about Iran's performance in the Iran Iraq war is the typical crap i normally hear from people who only now a little about the subject matter so please allow me to set you straight. It was Iraq that invaded Iran right after the victory of the Islamic Republic at a time when the completely dependent Military of the former Shah was at its weakest. Iraq was advised by your intelligence establishment in a secret meeting in Paris in August 1980 that Iran was unable to withstand an invasion for more than 3 weeks prompting Saddam to invade Iran on Sept 22 1980. the war however did not last 3 weeks but it lasted 8 years and for 6 out of those 8 years Iraq was fighting on its territory while Iran was under arms embargo and Iraq was using massive amounts of chemical weapons despite the 1925 Geneva Convention banning Chemical weapons which was ignored by all the so called champions of "human rights" and "rule of law".

As for your second paragraph I hear a lot of "US can do this" or "U.S can do that" so my question to you is why does the U.S not take any direct military action against Iran when you are supposedly still fighting "the War on Terror" all while the IRGC is officially recognized as a "terror group" and Iran is called "the greatest state sponsor of terror in the world" by your last 4 administrations? I know why and your Centcom knows as well.
