CCS nod for 4 more stealth destroyers for Rs 30000 crore

Well the design process for IAC began in 2003 while construction began in 2005 , it is due for delivery in 2014 , so thats 11 yrs

As far as missiles are concerned the P-15B Destroyers will carry Nirbhay Cruise Missiles for land attack role and Brahmos for anti ship role
Shaurya has a smaller range than Nirbhay

IAC construction not began in 2005 but the keel laying ceremony held in Feb 2009 so I calculated the time of construction from than.

Shaurya is not meant for the job of Nirbhay. Its way more deadlier than Nirbhay.

Dude can u explain the above statement
as far as i remember Nirbhay as a range of 1000 Km with a payload of 500 Kg , while Shaurya has a range of 750 Km at full payload of 1000 Kg but a range of 1800 Km with a smaller payload of 180 Kg

Let me again clarify that Indian Navy will not use destroyers to launch nuclear warhead , that task will be left to the Subs
So no need for balistic missiles
Land attack missile operated by destroyers are meant to take out airbases , naval instalation , oil supply , ports
which can be done using cruise missiles
By the way Nirbhay can deliver Nuclear warhead upto 25 Kt
thhough u do require missile with payload of 1500-2000kg to deliver 200Kt warhead

I am not talking about nuclear warhead for Shaurya. There will be some targets those are well protected and subsonic missile like Nirbhay will not be capable of destroying them, while Shaurya can. It can be used as a tactical missile and for SEAD role.
