It should be constructed. There are some issues all these issues are related to Royalty which should be given to KP without any bias and rest fear of drowning of areas is not an issue , people can be relocated.

Autumn gales and ******** of rain are washing out the memory of a dismal summer, with severe weather warnings today for the south-west, Wales and Northern Ireland, and forecasts that downpours will spread to most parts of the country.

The Met Office is predicting rainfall of up to 15mm in three hours in many places, and is warning travellers to check for traffic disruption caused by flooding on many roads.

August proved the coolest since 1993, and in many parts of England the fourth dullest on record, the Met Office reports. There were very few really warm days, average maximum temperatures were 1C below normal, and rainfall well above normal in south-east England and Wales. In East Anglia it was the third wettest August on record, with more than twice the normal August rainfall.

For those returning to school this week, there won't even be the consolation of savage grudge conker matches. According to the Campaign for Real Conkers, there is a shortage caused by the dismal August weather, when many fell early from the trees and rotted on the ground. Most of those still on the trees will not be ripe and robust enough for the sport when the gales topple them.

Keith Flett, the serial Guardian letter writer and a spokesman for the group, explained: "The conkers are nowhere near ripe enough yet and people won't be able to get their practice in. When you whack a conker before it is ripe it will crumble to bits."

Floods in Kp are Naturel, becoz india can't be involved there. Their might be an indian hand in punjab and sindh flooding..

Yes but are you reading what i wrote. Floods are synchronized operation and apparently was under preparation much before.
Pakistan faced worst drought and shortage of water, it was widely reported in news while india was preparing for his part in planned floods.
Water was released from Munda dam first and than when it reach close to Punjab India released water from its dams which it built in recent years.
Before the floods there were heavy rains which were kicked off by Haarp effect and X-37 was spotted flying over Pakistan.

NWFP was flooded by waters from Kabul river but their were no floods in Kabul!!!
Clearly water came from the new dam which was missing in yesteryears!

Royalties to provinces does not support the idea of federation. It rather dis-integrate federation.
This concept was applied on Bugti and Mengals who used this money to create their private militias and federation kept their nose out of their black activities as they never let Balauchi people complain... in short royalties are way of bribe to individuals.
All revenues from natural resources should go to federation and this talk of provinces is nonsenses idea of enemies of state.

Heavy rainfall, melting snow, frozen jetstream.

A considerable amount of the damage could have been avoided if we had more dams.

We could have saved lives, land and money if we built kalabagh and other dams with it

I think,entire subcontinent need to sit down and discuss about the future of river management so as to avoid future calamity.

All the rivers in south asia are originated from Himalayas and its high time that India,Bangladesh,Nepal,Bhutan and Pakistan sit on a table to discuss if this kind of natual disaster can be prevented in future.

We all know alot of water is lost to Arabian Sea every year by river Indus ... can we alter Indus's route so that it is split into 2 branches and one enters into Sindh and the other goes into Balochistan .We can then utilise the water lost to Arabian sea and irrigate more land i-e more crops produced ...which means less shortages of food which ultimately means stable food prices.

Having just got back from Leh I found that there is sacant regard for nature , houses are constructed with no regard for the natural lie of the land . Villages at the bottom of a funnel created by a valley are bound to suffer if it rains in the mountains above.

Old houses I found were on higher ground thus did not bear the brunt of the water. Little shops & markets that come up along roads got washed off.

We must be in sync with nature. Town planning has to cater for such expansion that must naturally happen ,local administration needs to ensure water channels are not encroached and there flow is not blocked.
