Cat in distress

.
1. Take a cotton waste, dip it into mild warm water and powder milk solution (not sure kittens can consume cow milk or not) and slightly press the cotton in its mouth.

2.Go to vet.

3.Try to find its mother, otherwise only God can help.(Assuming its eyes are still not opened)

I agree, you need a syringe. Remember some points, first of all, the baby's life is important than your sense of hygiene. You can work with the cat for some time then clean your hands. Try not to grip it too tight, or too loose either. And don't accident to push the syringe too fast, this will make the cat cough out the milk and neither you would want to milk it again and neither would she want to accept milk.

It went like a magnet to the cloth, I put the cloth inside the box and it huddled up in there!!!

But no luck with the feeding, found an old nipple, but no luck. It keeps on squeaking.

And @Talon, I checked, the ears are still folded inside, the eyes are not really visible, so I am guessing 2 weeks.

Damn! force feed it a little...use a cotton bud or a syringe, but only put very little in its mouth..have you never seen the mom nearby? maybe she went hunting!?

Yeah, now I am gonna try and squeeze the cotton and get drops onto it's mouth.

Nope, no mother nearby, no cat in miles.

Do you think I should relocate the kitten outside? Maybe the mother can find it there...but it would be a bit too hot outside.

No luck with the vet right now.

Will go tomorrow to his clinic.

Feed it enough to make sure it will last the night....small liquid stuff and rub its tummy to make sure it initiates the food to go down nicely and sort of burp the kitten....

hot is fine as long as there are no predators and no strong winds...the kitty needs to be kept warm and some get some food in it!
