Can we say USA has invaded Chinese territory Taiwan?

The world works by interests and not by what's morally right.
Currently it is not our interest to recognize them. But that does not matter, because they are a country.

There is no Palestine though, unlike you, if we don't want someone to visit the Palestinian territories, we can prevent him from doing that. We control what goes in and what goes out. We decide whether they will have electricity or not. Do you do the same for Taiwan? I don't think so.

Very proud of your robber logic and practice eh.

The base of the US/China rapprochement was the acceptance by the US of the One china principal: there is only one China, and its capital is in Beijing. All of the US's allies/vassal states follow this.

By this acceptance, the implications are that Beijing is free to do as it pleases in Taiwan because this is an internal matter.

The current attempt by the US to promote Taiwan independence essentially breaks this promise and effectively destroy the detente with China.

This is entirely a conflict of the US's making.

If that is the case I would say it is reasonable to say Taiwan is a de facto independent state.

Maybe, but that doesn't mean we are "invaders". We are actually welcomed guests by the people of Taiwan..including people representing the US military.

Here's the President of Taiwan visiting their off-limits early warning radar station...with a suspicious white man with a military buzz-cut lurking in the background.

Can you please provide a link, for my education, to such a treaty between the two countries and the necessary steps to keep it in force and obeyed by all US allies? Thanks.

What conflict? That can happen only if China invades Taiwan.

It is up to the Taiwanese people to decide on whether to reunify or remain independent, not to USA. Or mainland commies, for that matter.
No , it's up to 1.4 billion Chinese citizens, Chinese citizens are automatically both citizens of PRC and ROC . and all non Chinese citizens like you have a no say on this matter no matter how scream here.

The Leshan early warning radar station is built and operated by the US. Taiwan military has no control over it. Just shows how US is operating ROC as a puppet, infringe upon the sovereignty of China.

Too many people have the same view on Taiwan with this guy. I want to say something about this view: Why Taiwan has been de facto independent for 70 years? Has China mainland given up all attempts and efforts to reunify Taiwan since the first day of the 70+ years? If that is the case I would say it is reasonable to say Taiwan is a de facto independent state. No problem with that. But the reality is, it's US that used its military power to prevent China mainland's all efforts to reunify its territory. That's the only reason. When the PRC was just established in 1949, CCP government planed to buy warships from UK and Soviet Union to prepare for the upcoming crossing strait war. Next year the Korea war broke out. US sent its Seventh Fleet to block the Taiwan strait. CCP had to abort the plan because China's navy was too weak in front of the seventh fleet. In 1996, Taiwan's president Lee Teng-hui made a speech about "一边一国“ (Each side of the strait is a country). Which for the first time showed separatism attitude from Taiwan government. Did Chinese do nothing about the separatism attitude? Chinese government held massive military excercises and actually planned to start the stait war later. But once again US sent its seventh fleet to the strait.

If a country uses military measures to force another country to give up whole or part of territory, I guess this can be defined as "invasion". So far US has not denied its "one China" policy. But we all know it is approaching the red line day by day. When the day US crosses the red line. The definition of "invasion" will be authenticated. When some day China launches strait war, I hope all of you don't say "China invades Taiwan". You should say it is a war against aggression of US.

The existence of Taiwan issue, is a result of US bullying China. If anyone says China's reunification war is an "invasion", that means he recognizes the status quo created by military actions. You should not blame Russia for annexing Crimea and Donbass. Ukraine should be called as invader.
CCP "wanted" to launch against Taiwan, so Taiwan is part of China ? Normally you have to actually launch, go fight, win and sustain . Just "wanting" ?

It is striking or at least curious

It cost the Soviets 20-30 million lives to reach Berlin, and they withdrew allowing the reunification of the two Germanys. And now we see how Washington does not like the reunification of the two Chinas.

They withdrew because the East-German people in 1989 were almost rioting against their Government after Reagan in 1987 said they should do the right thing and tear down the wall....not because the Russians one day felt like it.

Before the pandemc, every year there were millions of mainland Chinese tourists visiting Taiwan. None of them defected.

No control eh?

Can we say the same about Governments around the world that allow China to operate certain ports?

If you allow China to run a port you become one of their puppets..and that China is actively trying to create hegemony puppets around the world even though they say their intentions are benign?

No. The ports are civilian facilities, under the jurisdiction of hosting nations where the law enforcement of that nation can fully carrier out their duty when needed. It's no different from any private enterprise in the US that they enjoy protection of the law from illegal searches and seizures but need to comply with the local laws.

Well It's only private in countries where the Government doesn't own everything...otherwise it is just semantics.

I said, it is no different from any private company as Chinese company operating outside its own jurisdiction can no longer be protected by the Chinese government and its laws. This is very different from US applying extraterritorial jurisdiction over its oversea military bases.
