Subway-style map of China's high-speed rail network makes navigating the country by train easy: Shanghaiist

Subway-style map of China's high-speed rail network makes navigating the country by train easy

A sprawling metro map of China's high-speed railway recently emerged online, providing one of the clearest and most beautiful ways by which to visualise the rapidly growing network.

For those planning on travelling around China, the map makes it easy to tell where to hop on and off while you navigate the country by rail. Just don't be fooled by the seemingly short distances between the stations, some are more than several hundred kilometres apart.

Looking at the map, it's hard not to admire the progress China has made in constructing its high-speed rail network. Aside from a few lines upgraded from conventional speeds, most of what you see would not have existed just 10 years ago.

High-speed rail, defined as reaching speeds of 200 km/h (124 mph), as of the end of 2014 stretched for 16,000 kilometers (9,900 miles) across the country. That number will almost certainly have increased with the opening of new high-speed routes from Shanghai on Wednesday.

I can't believe that this shitty thread created by a sick-in-the-head cheenee dude, and supplemented by two-bit statements from a few petty lankans and others alike, has managed to reach 15 pages. Only on pdf - the forum for enlightened individuals.

What do you do for a living? You spend a lot more time on here than everyone else. What are your achievements in real life?

Before ask him about his job and life what are you trying to prove by posting a thread about Indian Railway and then derailing the same topic ?

You said this topic is about Indian Railway and all you did there is to compare it with Chinese which is completely off topic.

Bullet trains or not .That is none of your business.
You are posting shits in here with your US flag .But do you know anything that is happening inside the China ?
Some how one deadly crash of HSR was publicized .But God knows the real rate of deaths in PRC .
After all their citizens only knows shit in their own CCP Mouth piece.
But in India everthing is free and liberalised .
Look at the your own posts about Indian rail accident in 2015.Two of the four cases was harmless derailment.

So what I am saying is that dont embarass yourselves in here by comparing India and China with US flag.
Because a American dont know anyshit about India or China.

Was my question for you? Then why are you derailing this thread by answering a question that wasn't directed toward you?

I think it's mental trauma...even a possibility that we'd do it has introduced a bipolar complex disorder in him :)

Look at the level of derailment in this thread.
If subject was about India then you shouldnt compare it with foreign nations and their facilities.

@waz please close this topic.
