A comparison should be logical. It doesn't make sense for India to develop such a long-distance ICBM now. Can we do it? Yes, should we? No.

yes i read it but current range of your out of this universe Agni V is 5500 km from various respected website with reduced payload it can go 7000 kmHave you even bothered to read the article? With reduced payload, we can extend the range of Agni V to 10,000 km
Indian can extend the range pretty easily, the question is does india need to ? Agni V can easily strike all the way till western Europe but there is absolutely no need for india to develop missiles which can hit Europe or USA. Otherwise range extension of the Agni series is the least of DRDO's problems, as one former scientist said that if the apporval is given the range of agniV can easily be extended to 10,000 kms with minor modificationsNo they can't. And their nuclear submarine would struggle to get in range to launch as its apparently quite "noisy".
They can do it within an year with a few minor enhancements to Agni V. But the government dosent want toIndia definitely can make a 10,000 KM ICBM, maybe they are already working on one.
Don't forget that it doesn't come with consequences, millions of Americans can dieOne Ohio class SSBN will practically end will end a civilization
