Can India replace China as driver of world GDP growth over next 20 years?

Indians are first class wet dreamers, it's so unbelievable fantastic. A great great great country

Forget about Shanghai
Everybody is talking about Mumbai
Today it is China
Tomorrow it is India
China is only an emerging power
India is the future super power
China is heading for a crash landing
India is there to be cashing
Right now China is on track
Because Indians are smoking crack

In China the fastest growing provinces are all the poorest ones, over 10% growth year on year, while Beijing and Shanghai's growth is the bottom two, see the analogue? Many poor nations grow faster than China, it's nothing to be surprised just think about the sheer size of China's economy.

like China which only has handful of cities to boast of. India on the other hand is developing several cities like USA which are not only going to have better living standards but also have potential to be industrial hubs (both in services and manufacturing) because of low cost of labour and good infrastructure. I dare to say this that perhaps India is where china was at the end of 90's. Only difference is we that we have inclusive model of development unlike China's selective model of development.

Indians....

. .
Indian cities have to first reach the level of development of Chinese counties and towns in China's poorest province.

The gap between those places in China's poorest province (Guizhou) and those so-called indian shining cities they have boasted everyday is getting bigger and bigger.

It is should be noted that China's poorest part Western China, is also a two trillion dollar economy but growing at 8+%. And China as a whole adds an entire Supa Powan economy every 3-4 years.

China's poorest province: Guizhou is on the rapid rise

Nice analysis. Especially about construction works in small towns I.e tier 3 towns and below. We have metro (tubes) construction planned for nearly all the tier 3 towns leave tier 1 and tier 2. Which would be completed within 5 years. Though metro is not a scale to measure development but it's just an example of how focus is not only on big cities, like China which only has handful of cities to boast of. India's annual subway investment is less than China's tenth.
Entire india's subway investment is less than that in China's Western part.

You obviously have never been to any tier-4 cities or tier-5 townships in China. Are you guys only using your "Freedom" to boast, or you also use it to enlighten yourselves? You seem to be ill-informed and unlearned.

By the way, whoever washed your brain did a superb job! :D

NO INDIA WILL NOT REPLACE CHINA AS DRIVER OF GROWTH

robotics and the outer space economy will be the next paradigm shift

humans are being replaced by robots. India and China huge population advantage will become a huge liability.

I guess he is a false flagger to intentionally make india sound bad.
Such strategy has been widely used in PDF by non-indian false flaggers.
The real indians will never know cities in China's poorest province are way more developed than their shining supa powa s**ms.

Zunyi County

They probably do not know this poorest province has several times longer controlled-access expressways than entire india.

Incredible India, indeed. If, like @AndrewJin suggests, a false-flagger, then, doing an amazing job.

If real, then it mean, like you say, Indian free media is doing an amazing job.

By the way, Indians are much less informed about the severity of their pollution (although Indian cities are going off the charts without meaningful polluting industries) than any average citizen of China.

There was a comparative infographics regarding this and Indians seemed to be unaware of the state of their under-development and pollution.

If I were a corrupt politician, I would like to have India's democracy and free media.

Do they know 300km/h trains?
People in China's poorest province do not just know but experience it everyday.

People in Panxian County could travel to every big city in China by bullet train.

Even in the ancient town of this province, local villagers have access to controlled-access expressway!

All this window dressing is good to keep you China's in utopia. Keep savouring your beautiful videos till reality hits hard on you. And I have not yet gone into the shadow banking of your "suppa powa nation" and the debt burden it's trying to hide.
PS: @TaiShang please tag more of your Chinese brethren. Being an Indian we love it when odds are against us. And you need support. So tag few more brother.

What reality? Reality check is what badly needed for Indians. Your abysmal condition in everything all across the board is the hard reality you refuse to face. Reality is not charts and predictions, reality is what you really experience your life first hand in a country and find it out yourself.

If Modi continues for 20 years, it will be very difficult to distinguish between the people of India and China.
It might even be difficult to distinguish between a single party Communist nation and a multi-party democracy if he continues for 20 years. Two terms at most for any Government - else it all goes south.
