Can India 'fix' Afghanistan?

off topic (just asking out of curiosity) - Is there any rule on PDF that a member from Pakistan will necessarily give a thank to comment by a member from China & vice-versa, even if it means the comment was written 6 months before (say in summer) & thank is given now (say in winter) is this the meaning of "all weather friendship".

on topic - comparing Indian efforts in Afghanistan with efforts of US & Russia in the past is totally ridiculous since they were involved there directly & also militarily i mean who would like one's country to be under the boots of troops of another country but India is mainly dealing with developmental efforts there & showing it's soft power in Afghanistan which can work, so in my opinion yes India can fix Afghanistan by gaining support from people of Afghanistan.

Exactly, afghans are one of the most backwards people in the world
They are isolated in their mountains, they only know islam

then lets collectively teach them there is a bigger world apart from ISLAM.
come on mate, you are sounding as if the Afgans do not learn and adapt. Ofcourse they can and they will even if you wish otherwise.


As far as the question if INDIA can fix Afganistan? the answer is a big NO, we can along with the support of the international community along with Pakistan can give them a good platform to start a new world form themself and a way out of what they are into for a very long time.

Dude - i know. I think they believe they have to "try extra hard" to be accepted. Thanks for your words...its difficult because if i had said it then it would look like a personal attack. It is so transparent that its embarrassing for us to watch him wanting "pats on the back".
On topic - i wish India the best of luck with their endeavours in Afghanistan. Indeed its a problem and a half and a handful!

India can really 'fix' Afghanistan but we need to specify if we need spot fixing (short term) or Match fixing (long term) also we need help from certain specific people.

If it is Spot fixing than we will require help from - Salman ****, Mohammad Asif & Mohammad Amir.

If it is Match fixing than we will require the help of - A Jadeja, Md. Azharuddin.

india most certainly cant...in the broader scheme of things, india (even before it became a country in '47) has been more of a problem than a solution....from the times of general ranjit singh (a formidable leader, albeit one who was bound to be doomed) to the time they backed the largely unpopular soviet occupation of Afghan lands.

sorry brother, the words you write are not in the right sence, It seems that INDIA is after its Muslim population and will live them alone only if they show they are loyal to INDIA. they are as much INDIAN as any hindus, christians and even anglo indians who settled in INDIA.
they are our country men and religion takes a back seat when it comes to nationalism

yes brother, I saw his post and he has said "to fix Afganistan, Pakistan must be fixed"
are you saying that it is a invalid post, Mullah Omar was trained and supported by Pakistan's ISI, or was he not? PAKISTAN's decession as far as its own internal security and that of its neighbour has been bad that they have always relied on non state actors to make sure their interests are safe gaurded at any cost. and the cost PAKISTAN has made others to pay for its interest is too high.

With almost a bomb blast every week in PAKISTAN is a direct result of alowing fire arms flowing free to flow all over the nation with out any accountability. so his idea of fixing Pakistan is right but it has to be done by the PAKISTANIS not by others. you are a highly respected Pakistani here in the forum, don't you think that your words might have made the guy feel bad about his nationality, just because he spoke what he realized from history(especially on the grounds of religion)

and in which university did you do a PHD on the INDIAN Muslims mindset? your post indirectly shows your hatred for your own fellow country men on the grounds of religion. please refrain from doing so.
