so now talk about India...

kid please!!India's economy is mostly driven by internal consumption...

just watch and see rise of Africa :D

Thats for now,but with ToT and indigenous production...There is a trend for Indigenous products in Navy,Probabily army and AF will soon follow..

ToT and indigenous production does not make sure you have technological independence.

every parts (including very tiny little parts) that are need to make military weapon, need to make by yourself.

Boeing said they are going to introduce 6th gen fighter by itself within 2025, can you do that by yourself something like that ?

.
India relies on other countries for everything. From weaponry to economical reasons, India is not independent.

How can you expect to become a superpower?

. .
.
WHY INDIA CAN NEVER BECOME A SUPERPOWER

1)Indian economy is far more behind USA or China. If others economies do not perform well,India cannot sustain on it’s own.

2)India has no reserve currency.

3)The defense sector of India is not well developed. Near about 80% of India’s military equipment s come from foreign land. The missiles and so called aircraft engines developed by India is developed on the basis of Engines and control systems imported from outside.Even India has very less capacity to create good military software.Defense budget of India may be big but for ineffective policies are creating hindrance in the path of realtime development.

4)Indian space research is dependent upon import and use of foreign technology. The engines used and designed by Indian space research organizations donot have much Indian equipments or designs.

5)India has territorial disputes with it’s next door neighbors like Pakistan,Bangladesh, and China.Even after 65 years of Indian independence,Indian authority could not solve the problems.

6)India is not well respected by it’s neighbors due to it’s rudderless and soft foreign policies which generates nothing but obliges India to give up it’s own geo-political interests @high cost. The country which cannot influence her neighbors, how we can expect it will influence others.

7)Indian politics and system are heavily divided on the basis of caste class and religion. To abolish casteism India has started another casteism in the form of reservation. There is acute trust deficit among different religious groups across India instead of the fact that India is a land of unity in diversity.

8)Rich-poor difference, poor human development index, improper education system. Less job creation-these problems haunts India at every moment and probably even in next 200 years these will remain unsolved. In india it is easy to have a mobile phone or cold drinks in remote corner but proper food, nutrition and clean drinking water are day dreams to the people of rural India.India authority may claim that they have done enough to elevate people from their lower level but the question is whether it is adequate for ever increasing population or just the eyewash in another form.Issue of huge illegal immigration has largely remained unaddressed due to electoral policies of Indian political parties. This kind of awkward situation creates strain to the economy and infra-structure of the country.

9)Indian bureaucrats are not up to date according to the demand of the people.

10)Ordinary Indian citizens cannot get their voice heard and donot get proper justice as the heavily corrupt system works for rich and powerful.Indian justice system is slow but expensive.

11)Indian mindset to offer unilateral concessions to others just on the basis of money or morality does not generate respect as a whole.India does not concentrate on reciprocal or mutual respect but easily carried away without any reason.Chance of over-flexibility and excessive prerogative power in the whole system invites corruption in many form.

12)Different kind of appeasement politics and policies holds India back to realize it’s full potential.

13)Crony capitalism is rampant in India without any checks and balance. In most of the cases so called highly educated policymakers or experts have no connection with the ground reality and their policy solely benefit corporate groups and high middle class people.

14)Indian general middle class and poors are highly neglected.

15)Indian tax and revenue service does not work properly instead of creating losses to exchequer.

16)India’s much hyped youthful population has very less jobs or have subordinate jobs.A large section of Indian educated youth(including graduates and post graduates) are jobless. So the potential of the great youthful population is not realized in the best form of service.

17)Indian good brains immigrate to prosperous countries in the first world including the middle east. That means India generate labors and skills by the taxpayers’ money but dodnt have the capcity to utilize the output in an effective manner.

18) In sports except in some cases India does not have any spectacular achievements be it in Olympic games or world cup. Even many African countries are ahead of India.

19) India has less innovative business except in civil software sector. Even so called Indian pharmaceutical giants and laboratories need foreign help, patent, technology to run their activities.

20) In case of energy security India has no significant domestic production of oil and natural gas.

21)Despite it’s great number of bureaucrats and great bureaucratic system, Indian officials and bureaucrats have no accountability in case of rendering service to the people. Most part of the system is just a mere continuation of British colonial heritage. Here govt servants in many cases performs as master not as servant of native people.

22) Women rights and child rights are very much suppressed in India. It includes malnutrition among women and children, female feticide.

2035...maybe..?

bro no offence... i am not going to talk on every products , just some to give you head up.

1. Arjun tank = Arjun tank technologies are not totally Indian, we have discussed many times that how Israel is helping with technologies (like other military weapons)

2. Brahmos is joined project not totally indian project. To be super power you need to make something like that by yourself not in joint project.

that is my whole points. again i did not say india will not be super power, i said india need time like 40-50 years.

40-50 seems a bit early, in my honest opinion.

I think it has a chance in the 22nd century, but the 21st. This century clearly belongs to China.

Sure, anything could happen. Though it'll be hard.

Even with optimistic projections, Indian economy won't reach 8 trillion by 2030. So, if China at more than 8 isn't a super power why would India be one at less than 8.

Militarily, Chinese spends about three times more than India, and China is also increasing every year at a more rapid pace, so the difference isn't going to shrink.

Politically, China has a bigger education rate and thus if China turns to democracy, China will be better equipped to deal with democracy. And before that happens, China is more united and better suited to advance without hesitation and this suits a developing country as a developing country like the name suggests needs to develop. LEss of a problem for developed countries.

diplomatically, Chinese enemies with the exception of Japan are far weaker than potential Indian ones. And no, South Korean is an American ally but NOT an enemies of China. Pakistan alone is stronger than all other Chinese adversaries put together.

Diplomatically, India isn't ready for the big stages, it invests less and helps out other countries less as infrastructure development is not its strong suit. I mean when you got problems forking over 10 billion dollars with a billion population for a BRICS Bank, you got problems.

So until China is a super power India won't have a chance.

Also this video is a little funny, as if the millions of tibetans that have been given a better life and a chance at prosperity will follow a man who was once a slave owner and another who they consider a foreigner (the self proclaimed Tibetan PM).

may be too early but it is not totally chinese century, India will join in that party later of this century i am sure

yeah,Arihant,P 15 destroyer,P17 frigates,Arjun Tank,A 5 ICBM,Bmd systems are the signs of an underdeveloped defense sector

The missiles and so called aircraft engines developed by India is developed on the basis of Engines and control systems imported from outside.

About aircraft engine-Do you even know what you are speaking dude?Kaveri is foreign?prove it then..!!!

About missiles-:rofl:India has also made worlds third largest solid rocket booster,1100 KN Vikas engine, and is developing 200 kN cryo and 2MN semi cryo engine.

Even India has very less capacity to create good military software
