Long time ahead...But correct me if am wrong ,India have several states with election at different interval and i believe BJP won that also...For e.g in UP Yogi just go elected in 2017..so the pulse seems to be in there favor

That's a double-edged sword, BJP sweeped UP in state elections but now if the Yogi's state government performs badly or there is a corruption case etc against the BJP state government in the coming 2 years BJP's chances in 2019 central election will also suffer.

This single point is overriding a lot of negative for BJP in the villages, especially in the woman folks.
Add to it the road connectivity and the upcoming Electricity to all houses, you are looking at a winning formulae.

Yet, Yogi is there for one purpose. Make sure his ministers are not corrupt and polarize the Hindus as much as possible.

Unless SP + BSP get together, the fight for UP is already over.

It would be a wonder if Lallu + COng can win a single LS seat in 2019.

No one had ever escape the public backfire be it Indira or today's Modi or anyone else.

It depends on the public mood... you can't take them for granted.

BJP lacks on economic front & they failed to capture foreign investment because none are going to invest in this CHIDIA KA GHAR...

BJP is selling old wine in new bottle with nothing new which every foreign company knows... they takes sides after a handshake from Modi.

If they want to win next election from majority they need to reduce GST taxes & tag petroleum & other left out products into it.
Simplify business laws, stop red tapism & jail corrupted beurocrats(what stops government?) There are many talented jobless people who could be replaced with them..
Increase FDI to 100% in manufacture & if possible in retail too. Until that no one going to invest with corrupted ones.. If you have doubt look in the history...

Mixture of both and then few other factors as well, caste combinations, polarization due to appeasement politics, understanding ground situation better and much more

I'm not a congress party admirer but yes India lacks a sensible opposition.

Despite of having 3600+ political parties we don't have any leadership & futuristic policies from any party...

And on top of that BJP is making many moves that are superbly being received by the poor people.

Yes they doing many things for poors like direct transfer of benefits or gas or electric supply, etc

But these are merely tactics to trap mass population which is poor & build a roadmap for winning next election.

BJP initiated many things like toilet building, electric supply infrastructure which congress should have done in their 60 years rule...

But mate this is 21st century & I see very clearly that India skipped 2nd industrial revolution...& i can't understand why Modi is thumping chest about world's largest population in today's era or robots & al doing work in industry... total bullshi

Development in a nation like can only be incremental.
Look at the opposition to bullet train or towards less cash-economy.

Modi needs to chest thump because he is a politician and is in power.

reality is different matter. There are a lot of things we need to do and limited money. We are a nation that demand first world railways but won't pay 1/10th of the actual cost of money needed by railways.
The 2nd industrial revolution is not going to happen in India. Now sure what's in store but if corrupt Congress is in power, we will never have any industries left.

Imagine India with such strategic presence and still not a Air Hub. It boggles my mind that Dubai is a hub and India is selling seats to Dubai...

I suspect some surprises favoring BJP in TN
Kamal Hasan/ Rajnikanth/ Break out in DMK/ AIDMK Congress joining BJP

BJP will get established in WB/ Kerala i.e. the communist garh
Orrisa they will do well, BJD has been loose for long time

Karnataka will be close call (Cong dominating )
BJP will do well in central belt

Congress is too late, If they want to change leader of opposition to Shashi Tharoor or Schindia boy, there is no time to build a strong narrative around new leader. plus their media / social team is crap. With all the money and power they were not able to portray pappu in good image.
