Can anyone explain what happened in Karachi beach?

I am seeing on twitter rescue operations on the beach ... and some others blaming civic administration?? but no idea why....

Anyone could help me understand what happened???

police imposed section 144 and stop them to bath in sea . but eid time people don't like any law or rules . massive pubic went to beach and bath 31 of them taken by heavy waves of sea and die . now everybody is perfect and stay away from beach .

PN send helicopters for recover dead bodies of missing in sea and they found some 33 dead bodies up till now .

I'm guessing "section 144" is a ban in some area?
but then why to blame the administration? if they were banned from swimming?

thats really sad but i dont think that much people had died deu to tidal waves looks likesome sught of toxik pollution related deaths

It was a drowning accident in monsoon,they went there for swimming etc to kind of celebrate Eid occasion and for fun but died there unfortunately....despite having warnings and alerts!

imran bhai almost 10 times more people go daily on any beach in tamil nadu , kerala or mumbai or goa here but never saw this many fatalities i think it has got something to do with toxic poisning

People with no ability to Swim should not go into open Sea without safety equipment.

Ignorant people don't consider the consequences before entering the sea.

It is not the Government's job to " BABYSIT STUPID PEOPLE ".

but they bodies were recovered from the sea.... wouldnt toxic water make effect some time later???

bhai karachi has 2 crorre official and 3 crorre unofficial population massive public went to beaches at holidays.
