Call of duty black ops.. FAIL!

Am I the only one who thinks Call of duty failed in it's newest edition?
They actually went a notch down from the gameplay we saw in MW2. This has been happening to me in every COD since MW1
MW1--> Good.
WaW-->Bad
MW2-->Good
CODBO-->Someone kill me now.
(If you'll notice the one's I liked are the one's developed by infinity ward. And the one's I hated are developed by treyarch)
So what do you guys think?

Well I played WaW on my wii. And I was bored half way through. The multiplayer was especially pathetic. Booby traps and releasing dogs is not my kinda thing

Tried black ops and i must its 50/50, did however really enjoy the last Resident Evil 5 and Dark side Chronociles were Meeh but they added some depth if you were a long time fan of the genre.

One game that really impressed me was Super Mario Galaxy, it really provides excellent game play and some of the zones take you back to your childhood xD

I don't know why people like gameplay with BS of no health bar. You get injured takecover for a while and you'll be back on your feet. The most unrealistic BS which drove me away from games. There has been no good game after Battlefield 2. Although I haven't tried ARMA and Flashpoint 2 yet but starting from COD2 i started hating COD series because of this cover and heal thing.

^I wouldn't agree. The health bar may be more realistic but in a multiplayer scenario this is much more fun.
I try to think of the whole screen becoming red as a psychological thing. Wherein bullets are just missing you and you're getting jacked up. And then you get the fatal hit. Which kills you. It's not the best theory but hey, neither is the health bar.

^^ have you played BF2 Project reality Mod.

They have the best health system. No health bar. If get hit on leg or feet. Screen get red for few sec and then recover. If get a bullet on chest etc you'll start bleeding and after few mins faint. If medic stop bleeding before you faint you'll again join the battle. If not Medic will need to revive you. A shot in the head and your dead. No reviving.

That is what all games should copy.

In an old game Operation flash point cold war crisis there were this system in which if you get shot on hand you might not be able to fire or if fire it will be too much inaccurate. If shot on leg you wont be able to run only prone. These kind of things bring fun in the game. Not some jumping headshots.

I'm a huge battlefield fan. But unfortunately I haven't played the project reality mod. I love battlefield bad company 2 and it has the same screen reddening system.
Your examples are very realistic but they wont really be too much fun to play. I like realism to a certain level (For example, bullet drop while sniping). But not being able to use one hand is too much, sorry,.

Operation flashpoint is the most realistic game on the 360 ive played..
worth a try..

The only reason I like black ops.. is zOmBies.. Damn addictive.

considering your approach no one should play any combat game as player shouldn't be able to continue the game as soon he hit the first bullet/wound.

Ya agree with u,it had a big dose of reality,limited ammo,short time span,and the best-even a single bullet can kill u

The last game i played was Mafia 2,totally boring,the sandbox scenario was not even properly utilized,lack of side mission's and action was also not impressive.
