LOL.. Sourgrape loser. Nobody see Han EV only. Everybody looks at overall sales of BYD. The very fact BYD have so much model to choose to suit each other need of cos will result in none of each series dominate.

ok, if it makes you happy that BYD's hybrids are allowing them to be ahead in plug in sales then so be it. Nobody really cares about the hybrid market

I won't knock BYD they are a battery company that also make cars. Tesla otoh is the innovator that everyone else tries to copy. Chinese people ofcourse will be and have a right to be proud of BYD (which I think Berkshire Munger has bought a good chunk of) but comparing to Tesla is beyond the pale.

The worry about Tesla are two fold for me : it has to diversify outside of China faster; and Musk is a one man show so far

As a car driver, i need to admit it’s like driving a true EV onboard a BYD Han EV while in tesla 3 like driving a cheap generic EV

Since when $45,000-$50,000 is a small amount of money?

BYD Han EV Price starting from around $43,000,-

BYD is not cheap whatsoever especially for a poor country that majority of their population can only afford plastic small motorcycles

With indian current nominal gdp per capita around $2,000 that’s mean an average indian need to WORK 20 YEARS NON-STOP only to afford this BYD Han EV Car
