BVRAAMs of PAF

hmmm well now if I ask for the source, will it be a cardinal sin?
Though the kind of mentality the leadership of PAF has, nothing good can be expected from them...

You can tell how prized HMD tech is by the fact that I am asked to leave the room whenever someone from Raytheon visits and wants to discuss the HMD with my advisor. Other stuff they are relatively relaxed about.

it seem weird hmd is so special

or submerine

well do they discuss military stuff in university
Yes. Military funds a lot of the research. Let's not derail the thread. Thanks.

Is the Chinese HMD final?
China does not have a marketable HMD/S.

Unless it can buy some units off-the-shelf from Thales (TopOwl-F), BAE (Striker II) or Elbit (Targo), Pakistan doesn't have any near-term options. Wouldn't surprise me if the Block-III doesn't get HMD/S.

With Pakistan signing a defence MoU with South Africa, the PAF can try speaking to Hensoldt (formerly Airbus DS Optronics, formerly Cassadian). They don't have a marketable product either, so, no guarantees there.

Hi,

Is there one in development for the J20---or for one of their choppers.

I hope you realize that the HMD is yesterday's tech....the world's moved on to the Robots! So the HMD will keep the manufacturers busy as there is a lot of older inventory out there that can use the HOBS capability coupled with HMD. But its nothing new anymore. There are over a dozen companies now making it. Hell, there are four Chinese companies making it. I feel like soon enough, I may be wearing an HMD in my Audi .

But I know a couple of manufacturers, they had people behind the closed rooms with special access and supposedly, they worked on HMD's in 2000's and 2005's.
