Chinese dont have an HMD, only some copies and attempts. An HMD takes a lot of design work, and qualification to a particular seat and aircraft based on anthropometric data of a particular AF. HMD is a good piece of technology, and really assists the pilots in certain situations.

This is from chinese media(Pl-15 is may be devaloped version of Pl-13) and i am surprised to hear that Jf17 can carry, Wow.

What are the rumors?

I have heard that it could be of South African origin. I have also heard that the Chinese are working in earnest for a viable HMD/S that is to find it's way into the JF-17. But I don't have faith on the veracity of such news until it comes out in the open.

There is n South African HMD. Cobra was BAE, and Paramount has no system. Rest, the tracking system what was developed in South Africa was licensed to Cassidian then Airbus into BAE. Thats your Striker 1 and 2 now.
