Yes because the USA is known for allowing tech transfers right?

They won't even transfer tech on a decades-old platform like the F-16 what else do you think they will transfer.

They denied the UK the codes for the JSF, something which was co-developed with the UK and the UK happens to be its closest ally. Folks like him live in a dream world.
It's not as funny as some of them who declared that they will get tech transfer for Predator drones lol!!!!

India needs a Single engine Fighter to replace some 300 single engine MIG21/27 fighters

120 WILL be replaced by Tejas mk1 /1a
IAF will take 120 import order for the balance between 2021-2027 to do this much needed job quickly

USA has the F16/70 ready THE only other realistic competitor in the Gripen E

IN REALITY what I THINK WILL HAPPEN. is the following

India will ditch any foreign sale completely
india will order more mark 1a fighters
India will move to develop mark 2 tejas entry level start 2030

And a small additional number of rafales wil be ordered ie 36 more planes
