I agree. The pic of the wreckage that @Windjammer posted in the OP can be of some IAF aircraft which was later painted as Pakistani for some cheap point scoring.

Specially this one, what PAF aircraft with straight wings and a silver finish could possibly have been shot over India.

Don't know about the aircraft but the shitty paint job is definitely not of PAF. Whoever painted this in IAF should have atleast done some research about paint job of Pakistani aircrafts

india shot down Pakistani planes and Pakistan did aswell. now going to how the paint job and ect... dose not really matter, is it not from a Pakistani plane? i mean there is no argument here on why they repainted it and made is look nice is that a crime? or is it that if its all original then it is a legitimate piece! i mean i went to a tank museum and majority of the tanks had a splash of paint on em and where sand blasted and what not. look at PAF museums all the airplanes look very nice and that is because of maintenance so if they want to make it all nice i don't blame em at all! who really cares these types of threads make senior members and elite member look childish when they want to prove a point that has no value to it. unless the piece is totally fake then

Well they certainly aren't toy models as suggested in Post #1. The authenticity of the wreckage itself remains to be seen since none of the original Pakistani markings are there, which makes their origins suspect.
