MAPS on Pakistan! - Page 10 - SkyscraperCity

The fact remains that there are two population centers in Pakistan that can support large populations. The other areas can't support any large populations.

Manchus and Mongols in China ARE Chinese. Any citizen of China from any of the 56 ethnicities is considered a Chinese person.

Is there a country called Manchuria? In fact, only 70 people in the entire world speak the Manchu language, the millions of Manchus that are alive today have completely assimilated into the Chinese identity.

They are Chinese, through and through.

Good politically correct answer. I am not talking of the present times.

Was Genghis Khan a Chinese? You claim Mongols as Chinese as well.

Now the answer?

Yes. I was just replying to the person about the population density issues.

In the populated areas, our densities are nearly the same.

Mongols that live in China are Chinese, absolutely.

And there are by far more Mongols in China than there are in Mongolia. We have more than double the number of Mongols that Mongolia itself has, and all the most fertile areas of Mongolia.

The Manchus and the Mongols of China willingly assimilated into the Chinese identity, they speak Chinese and follow Chinese culture, they have become Chinese people.

Maybe they were not considered Chinese before, but neither were my own ancestors (Hakka origin). The Huaxia were originally one tribe along the Yellow River, and like all other identities they assimilated others and expanded.

Same with the Anglo-Saxons, or any other group. They were once one small tribe, now they control massive swathes of the Earth's landmass.

Some tribes succeed, most tribes die out. A thousand years ago there were thousands of different tribes and religions dominating the world, now only a few dominate. This is how the world works.

I was talking about this comment of yours!!

Kashmir is as much part of India as Baloochistan is part of Pakistan.

and telling @Imran Khan not to argue with you about Kashmir map because previously Indians have tried to even justify that they share a border with Afghanistan...

but in real world its disputed and 3 countries hold it bro

I asked a specific question and you are giving me a speech. :)

I am not doubting the Chineseness (if there is such a term) of any of the current Chinese people.

I am specifically talking of the times when they were not Chinese and colonized China. Mongols also colonized much of Asia and parts of Europe.

I think their colonialism was no different from the European one.

Sure, in history they were considered separate. But again, that is true of every identity on Earth. Before the French became French, they were a hundred different tribes. Same with every other identity out there.

The difference is that the Manchus and the Mongols became Chinese. Manchus today speak Chinese and follow Chinese culture, while the Manchu language itself has almost become extinct. Today there is no difference between them and the Han, they have successfully been assimilated like many before them, including my own ancestors.

The Europeans on the other hand did not assimilate into the countries they colonized, in fact it was the opposite way around. They forced their language and their culture on their dominions, while never becoming native. Today they still speak only their own language and follow their own culture, and their former colonies speak their language too.

European colonists never assimilated into the host culture, instead they replaced them, like they did with the Native Americans or the Australian Aboriginals, or forced their culture onto their colonies without reciprocating.
