Like I said Sari is not relevant in Pakistan. Some faded old ladies, and Bengali immigrants in Karachi still wear it. Many women keep a sari or two for novelty - and that is the extent of it.

Back to your 'evil' designs and 'islamization' bit. Dude it is socio-cultural factors, and not anything that you claim. Before 1971, half of Pakistani women wore saris. So?

Women belonging to an elite class of Urdu-speaking Muhajir Muslims from India were used to Saris. These respectable people were concentrated in Karachi but some were scattered around rest of Pakistan. Their next generation is indifferent to Sari. None of the ethnicities in rest of Pakistan were ever familiar with it. Shalwar Kameez has replaced it and rightly so, since it is a lot more practical and more in line with People's life-style, sense of modesty, and local weather. Who wants to see protuding fat bellies rebelling against the strain of a tightish blouse and petty coat? Gee get over it already dude. It is a done thing. Sari is irrelevant because of socio-cultural factors. Give up the ghost already!

Or better yet carry on and keep making a fool of yourself and wear your brain on your sleeves or knuckles.

Should kids be taught that Burqa is okay? Nay by showing kids that Burqa clad woman as a hero, they are trying to inculcate that this should be emulated. That woman in burqa is a desirable trait.
