Burka Avenger | Pakistan's Animated Female Superhero | Updates & Episodes.

When Indians can create a TV cartoon to promote their religious deities like 'CHOTA BHEEM' so that children idealize them like superman,batman,spiderman...then we can also promote our cultural values via cartoon series....:argh:

Oh the vengeance of a feeble mind aided by might strong tapping fingers....

The 'bunch' of pictures you purport to show are a couple of females of Bhutto family (incl. Nusrat Bhutto who was an Iranian by birth and ethnicity), a cross dresser, and a cranked up lady everybody ignores. Good luck Sherlock.

Like I said Sari is not relevant in Pakistan. Some faded old ladies, and Bengali immigrants in Karachi still wear it. Many women keep a sari or two for novelty - and that is the extent of it.

Your efforts to create a faux fact are not only stupid, but also hilarious. You are in full swing in displaying your ignorance. Carry on. Keep a tube of Burnol handy.

Burqa? You know nothing about Burqa, its prevalence, or its place in Pakistani society, and neither is your gibberish relevant. Keep typing. Gives good exercise to your finger muscles.

A feeble mind is preferable over an ignorant mind any day friend.

I did say that the relevance of Sari is very low in Pakistan today. Yet, that was not the case a few decades ago.

And the reason for that along with the reasons for decline of many things in Pakistan has been a rabid Islamization drive.

From blatant Islamization efforts to subtle ones - like the cartoon, all are evident to people with a critical eye.

Undoubtedly.
The question however arises - is Burka something that should be promoted or not.

Is 'Bheem' something that is promotable or not?:)

. . .
Haha..entirely upto you mate.
However just as 'parda', should not be promoted in India, similarly burqa should not be promoted in Pakistan.

why not..why you have so much dislikes for parda?:P what is wrong with it?
I have same feelings for 'bheem' and 'Ganesh',no offense, just my views..:D

Nice back-tracking. No problem.

Back to your 'evil' designs and 'islamization' bit. Dude it is socio-cultural factors, and not anything that you claim. Before 1971, half of Pakistani women wore saris. So?

Women belonging to an elite class of Urdu-speaking Muhajir Muslims from India were used to Saris. These respectable people were concentrated in Karachi but some were scattered around rest of Pakistan. Their next generation is indifferent to Sari. None of the ethnicities in rest of Pakistan were ever familiar with it. Shalwar Kameez has replaced it and rightly so, since it is a lot more practical and more in line with People's life-style, sense of modesty, and local weather. Who wants to see protuding fat bellies rebelling against the strain of a tightish blouse and petty coat? Gee get over it already dude. It is a done thing. Sari is irrelevant because of socio-cultural factors. Give up the ghost already!

Or better yet carry on and keep making a fool of yourself and wear your brain on your sleeves or knuckles.

Haha..entirely upto you mate.
However just as 'parda', should not be promoted in India, similarly burqa should not be promoted in Pakistan.

Reading your injunctions makes a good case for two-nation theory.

Who the hell are you to tell us what we should or should not do in Pakistan? Chtay Bheem ki Doti kay pallu main rehnay walay khatmal ho tum.

.
Apparently not. But see'ing definitely is.
What is seen is a woman in burqa trying to be a hero - a hero that is literate and teaches as well...but a woman in burqa.

Should kids be taught that Burqa is okay? Nay by showing kids that Burqa clad woman as a hero, they are trying to inculcate that this should be emulated. That woman in burqa is a desirable trait.

Oh yes! Lets forget the msg she trying to be conveyed and concentrate why she isn't 80% nude/ skin tight clothes or whatnot like our famous Western superwomen?!

Get your hormonal level checked please! We are trying to educate our children not turn them to prostitute!

Sheesh!

. . . . .
Why is it in English? Are they trying to promote it in the overseas markets as well? Otherwise doesn't make much sense.
