It is an ordinary housing society. I have visited it several times. The road quality is below average. Hype is not real. All these malls or cinemas are also ordinary. Multanis are waiting for DHA or Bahria.

Wapda Town, Model Town, DHA, City Housing, Royal Orchards, Buch Villas are all developed on mango farms. No govt organization is taking care of this threat.

I agree with you.....agricultural land should not be sacrificed for building housing societies...

Damn, that is scandalous, I have never visited Multan but know it for two reasons, the best Mangoes and Hafiz Sohan Halwa.

Wapda Town, Model Town, DHA, City Housing, Royal Orchards, Buch Villas are all developed on mango farms. No govt organization is taking care of this threat.

All across Punjab, fertile lands are being converted into Housing. Looks like there isn't single sane person in government and bureaucracy who think about food security, At this pace, I am afraid within decade we will be importing wheat, rice and fruits.

Multan has the best Airport in the country in smaller category, and has a BRTS as well, can be developed into a bigger cosmo city.

But housing societies on agri land should not be allowed...Buch seems to be the surname...

You talk about clean water. You know how much water is wasted in Pakistan? Who pays their bills?

How can the authorities allow this when the government is on a plantation drive and there's world wide demand for Pakistani Mangoes.

The issue isn't about waste, there is plenty of water it is unclean, arsenic with a lot of heavy metals. Yes there is wastage of water why? because we never completed land reforms and so the land we have is not being cultivated on an optimum level.
