BSF DIG killed in IED blast triggered by militants

The reprot also says that the freedom fighters put the explosive there in Held Kashmir and hide in Azad Kashmir just to see how the Indian military vehicle blows up. huh :P
The funny thing is they went inside Occupied Kashmir placed IED and then succeeded to come back. where were those 700000 soldiers of Indian Army?????

.
So you think it is fun to put up an IED and see how it blows up humans, do you?

You are a sick individual, ma'm. Seek help before you go over the edge.
Look like you never used IED. Quite fun. Now tell me I AM SICK. and i'll agree coz I have flu.:P

Actually this may be a possibility!

But even if some areas on both sides of the IB/LOC are mined, dont the authorities know the detailed layout of these fields, especially on the home front? (They dont just blindly layout mines now, do they?). If so, do you think that any personnel, least of all the DIG, would be allowed to venture in such an area without adequate information/warning/protection?

You typically have maps with grids that show how the mines are deployed, however while you are combing the ground, its quite possible to go where you are not supposed to go. Typically you stay away from it altogether. So I am not sure what the circumstances are.

@ Jana

And you people expect RIPs from Indians every time some lame illiterate bastard blows himself right under the nose of your security personnel.

I am deeply disappointed by your attitude and immaturity. :disagree:

Operation Parakram was a hastily put-together knee jerk response to a terrorist attack hoping for a face saving grace by the Govt of the day. So it is possible that mines were laid in haste and not properly documented. result - unwanted avoidable casualties.

Anyhow, doesn't some protocol require that professional armies document in detail the minefields?

Coming to the topic on hand, unlike the Op Parakram, the IB/LOC has long been a sensitive area and has been mined for a long time. They ought to have detailed maps of the minefields and if they do then the DIG going there would be a serious lapse. OTOH, if they already knew there are no mines there to let a DIG venture into the area, there would remain only one possibility for such a loss!

Rightfully a knee jerk operation, but there are plenty operations such as this by IA.

.
You quote Indian media to counter Indian media and accuse Indian media of trolling what a weird thinking.

What's weird about it?? It's evident that the same Indian report she is countering she is also accusing, not the other Indian report which she is countering with. Also, if you are countered with a Pakistani media report you will trash it, so this is the only way of countring it.

You don't have to if you don't want to, but for many here and me as well an IA soldier in the occupied Kashmir is nothing. If any civilian dies in India I will be the first one to offer my condolences, but how sick are you to compare what happens to a poor un armed civilian, to a soldier who is in a war zone.

This is such a lame and bogus story.

Was this DIG of any specific military importance that he needed to be taken out by the Pak Rangers? Or is it that the Indians are claiming we killed him "aiwai" for the fun of it?

I mean imagine the scenario. Pakistanis found out about him, planted a bomb, waited patiently and as soon as he came close, pressed the trigger. Then made a run for it across the border.

What's so important about him that warranted such an effort?

If it's the freedom fighters then that's India's own problem, India is the forever aggressor in this scenario by occupying them, no two ways about it. You can cry rivers all you want, but its a war... and we all support the other side. Although I do think we shouldn't purposely try and hurt each other but its pretty naive of the Indian side to come here, and expect any sympathy for this fallen soldier. Guess what, we do support the freedom fighters of Kashmir and the whole purpose of our support is to see ALL occupying forces (only from Kashmir) dead or removed. Choice is yours.

Just my two cents for the entire Indian behavior on this issue.

No one pointed fingers at the PA for this. That is a ridiculous assumption.

The report says that militants/terrorists detonated an IED device when the DIG went visiting to investigate 'something' (not specified but report implies border firing and cross-border shelling).

As to "freedom fighters" - especially those residing on the 'other' side of LOC/IB and professing to work for Kashmiri struggle, we call them terrorists who kill at will, do not differentiate between services personnel or civilians. Semantics!

Btw, you do realize that an Afghan or an Iranian may harbor similar feelings towards PA personnel working in NFWP/Baluchistan.

The exact details and cause of the Indian officer's death is presently controversial to say the least, on the other hand authorities in Pakistan claim with conviction of discovering proof of Indian involvement in flaming the insurgency in Balochistan and elsewhere.
Under such circumstances neither side conveys or should expect condolences.

Another contorted, fabricated and lame excuse to condone the dastardly act. Shame on you! :disagree:

Ram Ram Panditji, when you are involved in hostile actions, casualties are inevitably expected hence no one should make an excuse for them.
As for your wordy moaning, i doubt it counts where it matters.
