British men prepare to fight Turkish-led forces in Syria

I dont want to sound anti Bosniak, but Bosnia radicalized very fast since times of Yugoslavia.

Yes, I am aware of that but that was specific response to specific set of circumstances mostly leveraged on the Bosnian Muslim genocide and collateral consequences of that extreme period but that cannot deflect from the normative - which is Bosnian Muslims are well adjusted within Europe. I have had the privilage of meeting some Bosniaks in UK and was very impressed by their demeanour.

Western public's good will on Kurds was entirely a media construct, saw the marketing campaign unfold before my eyes. Before the Arab Spring barely anybody in the West knew of their existence.

Their goodwill follows the logic of the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Kurdish image was portrayed as an anti Daesh force initially, painting their fighters with a very romantic image(to the point of suspicion), in a che guevara-esque fashion. They were portrayed as the beacon of Western values and a hope for progressiveness in the region. Some in the West bought into this idea and few even joined their cause.

When ISIS was weakened substantially but not destroyed, new round of demonizing Turkey and Erdogan began. Painting it as the reason for ISIS's existence and neo-Ottoman. Basically play up the fear factor against Turkey. When that didn't work a coup was attempted. Now West has "useful idiots" to fight for their cause in the Middle East. These volunteer fighters really do believe in their hearts that fighting against Turkey for the Kurds is righteous since they bought into the narrative of righteous Kurds and evil Turkey.

Turkey and Turkish people need not to worry about the international perception impacts of its operations in Syria. Turkey will be demonized by Western media regardless. Short term pain for long term gain, and patch up the damages later.

The Middle East will never develop if swayed by Western backed rebels. Supporters of these groups are seduced by the the idea that rebels will transform the region into places like the west. That will never be the case, it's structurally designed to not end up that way. It will just end up like Afghanistan or Libya. Turkey and Iran are pretty much the hope for the region IMO.

This post deserves more positive ratings.

Ha ha ha. So we agree that the most potent force packing more nuclear energy is a well shaped, well endowed figure squeezed into a mini skirt - preferably leather in primary colours. Turquoise being my favourite, is a Western conspiracy against the Islamic world.

In this article Croatian journalists said that S. Arabia pays Bosniak women around 50 euros per month to put burqas on themselves.

I must admit this is one of the very few objective point of view from a Non-Turk regarding the issue i have seen in PDF.

As a interesting side note the term "Bosnian Muslim" is now relic of the past. The term "Bosniak" is now used to develop a secular identity for that demography.

If those aspects are so damaging to the Islamic health why have they not shipped out? Nobody has them tied. Conclusion therefor is secularism is compatible with Islam.

And many homes don't have hot water from the tap, there is solar heating but if your house doesn't have it (like mine) or rainy then you wash your face in cold water.
I have a special heating device that gives me warm water throughout the house, but it makes my electricity bill 2-3 times more than average, I pay over $150 just for electricity because I like warm water.

Also internet is expensive and most internet is limited, if you use too much internet it slows down. There is no cheap fiber internet in most places. Internet is more expensive here than in rich european countries.

These are just a few things, but have to do with infrastructure. But it's 2017 and Turkey is so developed in many areas, I don't understand why it is as it is. It feels like stone age.

In rich European countries you don't have these problems.

My point is I living in Turkey, if I can find things I like more in Europe than in Turkey, then I can't even imagine how it must be to live in less developed countries where public transportation is over crowded and so on.

Finally, I live in a tourist destination by the beach. I go out sometimes to drink alcohol and have fun but it's like being gay.

You go to disco's and you got tourist girls and no local girls and many young men work at these disco's and clubs many kurds from east Turkey for instance and they surround all the girls like they've never seen a girl. So a "guest" to the club like myself can't even talk to the girls.

Then there are song clubs, where they sing in turkish and you sit and drink and get good service fruits and whatever you want. But here too very little girls and if there are girls you can't talk to them because the people working there don't want you to disturb other customers.

It's messed up, maybe it's different in Istanbul. But there seems to be a big lack of girls especially local girls because many girls are conservative and stay at home.

In Europe you can go to disco/club and actually meet girls there, even go home together, here you can't do that in smaller cities.

So if you ask me if I would move to the UK, I'd probably say yes.
I'm not desperate or anything but I feel it's just natural to be able to have fun with girls at clubs and not just other men which feels so strange after a while.

What people do here is they go to prostitutes a lot, they pay to get laid.
But that I don't do that I think it's morally wrong and besides I don't want a girl to be with me for money it's a big turn off.

And EVERY MAN likes adult sites don't say you don't haha, and I can't access these either which makes me very sad, makes me want to cry because admit it adult sites are better than the real thing they are perfect in real life you find freckles and other errors on girls

Yes you can use VPN's and such but it is my God given right to go to adult sites, it has nothing to do with the country.

On the other hand what I like most about Turkey is the lack of crime robbery, fights and so on are difficult to find. While in Europe these things happen a lot.

Also the people are great, turkish people are supportive of eachother and very nice. I can become friends with a Turk I don't know easily, not cold like europeans. Food is good too not just hamburgers and pizza but hundreds of kinds. Regarding food alcohol is very expensive lately, thats bad. I asked around and told it's the government they don't want people to drink alcohol so they have high taxes on alcohol. Electronics and cars are very expensive too.

Yes I agree, and I would like to keep Turkey like that.
But Mr Erdogan may have other plans in his mind.
And as usual the moderate liberal majority of Turkey will remain silent when the ultra religious minority spreads its wings just like in Pakistan. Now I would not like Turkey to be like Pakistan.
