What's new

Britain's biggest mixed grill: 9,000 calorie gut-busting plate with TWENTY chickens

chicken is not an animal it is bird.

in uk chicken is not considered meat

it says 4kg meat because half a lamb and few lamb kebabs would be 4kg

fish is not meat, it is fish

birds belong to the kingdom animalia in taxonomy :o:

but I get the idea

.
i use to know a (nadeeda) friend who use to finish everything
we use to call him dharti pe bojh
leme try to find that guy he might want to try lol

Before you take the challenge, just imagine how much effects you need to put to get this 9000 cal of fat out of your body
About 12 hours running at 12kph, so get on your treadmill turn it up to max and stay there for the day

Or be a spelunker or trekker in the high mountains.

I consume close to 5K calories a day, due to the nature of my work, especially on projects. Being in the middle of nowhere in the Andes or Himalayas or Pyrenees for days and doing crazy climbing, exploration etc. is quite a hunger accelerator.

Combine that with physical training and you have enough reasons to gorge on food.

But hell this would be really artery busting.

It is safer to consume a balanced mix of meat, green & yellow vegetables and milk products.

chicken is not meat

Yes it is plastic :partay:

In french we call it viande blanche or literally translate in white meat. (Blanche : white. Colour in female form / male form : Blanc)
In opposite to this, cow meat is called red meat.
It’s a matter of protein I think.

We don't have the concept of male female, its all one to us (in objects). Maybe you could share with us some of the insights of the male/female forms from the French way of thinking in a thread. But yes, female and male form sounds very interesting.

I can’t explain but what can I say is in french language everything has a gender.

“a” will then be translated by “un” (male form used all “male” words), or translated by “une” (female form used for all female words).

Example:

A boy : un garçon
A girl : une fille.
A hammer: un marteau
A swimming pool : une piscine.

Even countries have gender when used in sentences :

A strong England : female - une Angleterre forte
A nice France : female - une belle France.
A rich Pakistan : male - un Pakistan riche.

We should study history of languages to understand that.

A hammer: un marteau
A swimming pool : une piscine.

How come somethings are male and others are female? i.e

Hammer = male
Swimming Pool = female

What defines what is male and female?

My initial thought is that it depends on the properties of a form of a thing.

Like a swimming pool absorbs a form into itself, where as a hammer changes form of another.

Sincerely I don’t know. I’ve learned french when I went to school here and I took it as it is.

You know french language has, as other languages, a very long history, and only linguistic experts, which I’m not, could explain it properly.

I see its a philosophical question on the male and female form, and I guess the french would be experts on that.

But then again many cultures have male and female symbolism in their communication.

Maybe it comes from male domination and/or male was considered as pure
