Britain, Turkey sign defence deal to develop Turkish fighter jet

If we make good contract with GB, İt will be very useful for Turkey.Of course it would be win win situation for both countries.Of course England will have good opportunity to sell her products to new countries.Especially 1,5 billion muslim word.England knows that.

Germans already going crazy: http://www.zeit.de/wirtschaft/2017-...sa-may-recep-tayyip-erdogan-ruestung#comments
Like Erdogan is gonna build this fighter all alone and use it in person to attack them. :D

France and Germany like states will most probably object to such strategic partnerships and projects under the hands of a Muslim majority state because Turkish industry has started playing on game changing projects. When Those are completed, This country will declare own independence on foreign policy. Noone can threaten Turkey with using defense products as a tool to harm our interests. The strategic weapons which is not sold to some states by big boys cause of politic reasons, will be exported by Turkish industry to change the power balance. A free FP will directly harm their interests in region so today, They issue embargo to Turkish projects via their engines but They will not find an excuse to block Turkish deals in tomorrow.

After Turkish aquired a good independance in key defense industry, Let's just hope she doesn't play the big boss ( like the EU and US) and refuse a lot of ToT & limit some of her export product ( as TF-X, anti air system, radars and such) to the other muslim countries... Let's hope not...

The British will not accept Pakistan's participation in this project of such strategic importance. This aircraft will be a duet to fighter F-35.

Turkey is a member country of NATO, not the Pakistan.
It's not a JV, just a R&D help from the UK, it will stay turkey property. so pakistan can enter, the only hic will be with engine, if it's not-owned/homemade engine then the other country could be able to block otherwise, if turkey want, pakistan can join

What do you think of rising islamofascism? Do you think Turkey, KSA, Pakistan and such countries with great potentials, would be better off for the mankind with achieving great economic and military advancements all the while becoming more and more Islamist?

I am so eager to see our country as a super power with all kinds of capability and complete self sufficiency, however I am also more and more scared of the rise of islamofascism in our country. They are not even trying to hide it anymore.

Even islolamofascist Turkish users here are not really hiding it.

I think it would cause more harm then any good if such failure of ideologies would get their hands on powerful nations.

I'm in no way defending them. But it's under those Islamofacist that your country and the others are becoming an interesting power.... and seeking defense independance...

Haha, not really. Islamists were guarding US soldiers in Incirlik with their bare bodies (and their dirty beards) against seculars who wanted to kick the shit out of them.

Pretty much everyone in our country, regardless of ideology, support hardcore self sufficiency. If CHP were in the power and the nation would be utterly secular, then the pace of nationalization would be even faster due to more educated and open minded questioning work force we would be having today.

"They are doing it" != "They are the only one who would do it"

That is just a terrible logic right there.
