Honestly, these are sort of things I would love to see Pakistani's rioting outside the Foreign Office with people like Naz Shah giving speaches. Instead nothing will happen. Comes some crap over Palestine, Charlie hebdo or some Dutch punk you will see shyte hit the fan.
I am really pissed of about this. I had my ticket booked and was ready to fly out to Pakistan next week and then this. There is no way I am gonna get locked up in a hotel for 10 days when I get back. Particularly when I see Indians, Poles, Romanians all with nuclear red infection rates walking in with not a care in the world.

Silly considering nations with far worse infection rates are not banned. Let's say Pakistan is lying about how Covid prevalence, the medical fact remains its nations with older populations that suffer more death and infection. Pakistan's population is among one of the youngest in the world, and was cited by the WHO on why Covid was unable to gain a strong foothold in Pakistan.

That is true. But the facts are -

• transmission rates are related to movement. The amount of intra-traffic and international traffic with regards to Pakistan is lower than say Western Europe. This militates against spread.
• strong sunshine also helps in reducing infections. Most of Pakistan is very dry and has strong sunshine. That is why we get surges in winter.

Even allowing for lower tests Pakistan has been on the lower end of corona infections particularly compared to Europe. The point about testing is also applicable to most countries in the world. The latest surge in Pakistan is because of the UK variant being brought in by people like me who visit Pakistan every year. The danger from variants like Brazil or South African mutations is almost negligible because Pakistan has very, very limited dealings with both countries. In fact there is no direct flights to either.

On the other hand South Africa and Brazil have major linkages with Europe and USA. So if anything the maximum danger of these variants entering UK is from other European countries and not Pakistan.

Thus far if you look at the pattern of infections in UK you will struggle to link that to Pakistan. China, Italy etc were the primary vectors. Even the variants are UK, South African, Brazilian.

Agreed. I am really pissed off about this and this is beyond my own trip being cancelled. There are countries near UK that are literally corona nuke zones. With summer fast approaching I know the rates in Pakistan will begi to drop. But be that as it may the government is saying it's okay for a visitor from Poland to spread the disease here in UK and kill a few old pensioners. But lo behold if yoi visit Pakistan that is threat to nations safety.

This defies logic. As I said before governments make decisions based on politics. Placing restrictions always has backlash. Clearly they felt they could kick us and nothing would happen. Or if it did the country would think "ahh just Pak**s again at it".

you ppl have no racial issues or discrimination from whites its your own country why you ppl have so much corruption and backwardness and it is not because of expat paks. In Britain everybody knows Leicester is Ganga central. This city has the distinction of being first where Whites are a minority. You might as well call it Leicesterdesh. Yet that city has about same infections as Lutonistan or Luton which has heavy Pakistani presence. Coventry is full of Indian Sikhs yet it is glowing with corona cases. Corby is red hot and it has very high number of Poles. So I can't see an corellation that distinquishes Pakistanis.

Every joke , insult and banter aside ..Creation of Pakistan was truly our achievement .. We gave the paindu sons of soil freedom and gave them some sense of civility... The current geographical area composed of Pakistan was the most backward and regressive and I am pretty sure had Jinnah , a muhaijir and Liaquat , a muhajir been alive , they would have seriously re-considered making Pakistan.
