BREAKING: Senior bureaucrat Rajiv Mehrishi will be new home secretary, LC Goyal resigns

.
Ok that's for other viewer's to decide. I guess you know who runs the government and who is behind shunting out of Goyal, which is topic at hand.

Looks like there is some more scope for trolling.
I guess the government is run by our representatives in the parliament. I dont guess who was the one person in the govt who was behind removal of Goyal because no one has claimed this to be his or her decision. People are free to guess but i will stick to "government".
I thought it was Aurangjeb.NVM
That was a poor guess. It was actually Rana Pratap or perhaps Chhatrapati Shivaji... I am also poor at guessing thats why I go with what is stated.

Will you elaborate a bit on hook or crook ?? Did he do anything outside the ambit of Constitution. And mind it whom you regarded as mature in your previous posts enforced EMERGENCY.

Its unfortunate that despite being in majority, the govt. could not get the bill passed in parliament. thats the beauty of democracy and a signal to the ruling representatives that they cant be bigger than the people of India. Had the govt. made it an ego issue, which would be quite immature, they would have found "some constitutional means" to get the land bill passed. Not a difficult thing for a govt. which has absolute majority in Lok Sabha. This "some constitutional means" according to me would have been the "hook & crook" just like Indira Gandhi found those means to enforce the emergency. by the way Indira Gandhi continues to be my ideal, my favorite leader and favorite prime minister but fortunately or unfortunately I lack the qualities of a "Bhakt" so I wont defend Indira for her each and every act.

And who is succumbing to pressure of Patels ?? You are just letting your hate getting better out of you. It has been more than year since he moved out of Gujrat. Regarding succumbing to old servicemen you are again offmark . It was his pre-poll promise and he knows any day men behind the machine matters the most.

I read in the newspaper yesterday that Patel agitation was the reason for rolling the head of Goyal. If thats true then the "government" displayed that it did act under pressure. Now why you always make your idol the center of all discussions? You know a fanatic is the one who cant change his mind and wont change the topic. please have the last word and lets change the topic.

Guys. Those comments were totally unwarranted. I was a long time lurker here, before I actually joined, and from what I've seen @Razia Sultana is a level-headed secular Muslim, the kinds that we like to flaunt as "more Indian than Muslim".

That Aurangazeb comment was a cheap shot. She probably is the Dara Shikoh kind.
Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. We all leave impressions on the minds of people but when words are put forth we either correct them or its assumed that we have accepted them apart from the third possibility of ignoring them.
"more indian than muslim" and "more muslim than indian" are the two phrases that i find completely unpalatable. The reason being it gives an impression that these two words are oxymoron which is actually not.

what about calling me Razia Sultana type or Indira Gandhi type. I think i am better off being my own type.

 Now you are regurgitating same thing repeatedly .There is nothing to guess here. It's unambiguous. For a change go check who heads DoPT. :cheesy:

Nah as per wide public opinion , It would be Bin Qasim or Nadir Shah either of first or the last.

So you are finally acknowledging that what the government finally did was mature. That's good. But why are you calling that unfortunate at the same time ??
This "some constitutional means" according to me would have been the "hook & crook" just like Indira Gandhi found those means to enforce the emergency. by the way Indira Gandhi continues to be my ideal, my favorite leader and favorite prime minister but fortunately or unfortunately I lack the qualities of a "Bhakt" so I wont defend Indira for her each and every act.

Now you are being judgmental, don't form opinion about me if you don't know about all my opinions regarding functioning of incumbent government. I do differ them on few points.
I read in the newspaper yesterday that Patel agitation was the reason for rolling the head of Goyal. If thats true then the "government" displayed that it did act under pressure. Now why you always make your idol the center of all discussions? You are reading too much from unverifed half baked sources. Belive only on what has been verified by authentic sources . You are basing your arguments on sources that you yourself are doubting so that's logical fallacy hence stand rejected.

And as far as my so called idol is concerned , you must be knowing that people voted for him and he heads the government.Yes it is still parliamentarian set up but he made the elections Presidential. Many vouch for that logic.

Don't you find it's strange that your definition of Fanatic suits you better than me ??
