Are you trolling? US did most research and funded everything for the Iron Dome. It is not for intercepting ballistic missiles, that is what Patriot and THAAD systems are for.

Anyway in Houthi statement it says that they targeted two air ports so could have been more than one missile. They also claim to have targeted airports near the border.
