Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif speaking in the National Assembly on August 29, 2014.

The Prime Minister during his address categorically stated that the government had not asked army to play the role of a mediator to end the ongoing political impasse and said it would never compromise on its democratic ideology. The Prime Minister dismissed the impression that last night's meetings of Army Chief General Raheel Sharif with Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek leader Dr. Tahir ul Qadri were held on the government's desire.
"Neither the army requested to mediate nor we asked them for it," he said.

He recalled his yesterday's meeting with General Raheel Sharif and said even this meeting had not taken place, the army still was to play its role as it had earlier given a loud and clear message through ISPR for protecting the national buildings on Constitution Avenue.
He said Imran Khan and Dr Qadri were exaggerating the details of their meeting with army chief and were wrongly giving impression of the army's role as a mediator.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said political parties can sacrifice their governments but do not compromise on their principles.
"I can sacrifice my ten governments, but not my principles," he said.

He vowed to uphold supremacy of the Constitution and not to deviate from the resolution passed by the Parliament for strengthening democracy.
"I have taken oath of the Constitution, and will respect and comply each and every word of the resolution passed by the parliament in favour of continuation of democracy," he said.

You know what. I don't care what happens to Nawaz Sharif when all the dust has settled. What I do want is:

1. Many justices involved in rigging hung.
2. RO's involved in rigging hung.
3. Former CJ and his son, skinned alive and burnt at a stake.
4. Former generals found involved in creating LeJ, SSP, JuD, LeT, TTP all de-limbed, de-organed, preferably alive. Their children brought back from abroad and done the same to them.

This should be just the start.

Geo finding it tough to defend PM stance.... :sarcastic:

So according to the constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif is no longer 'Sadiq' and 'Ameen' and according to Article 62, 63, he can't be the Prime Minister of Pakistan. He must be held accountable.

In Pakistan, constitution does not matter much. If you learned anything from past four decades, you should have learned this at least!

So according to the constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif is no longer 'Sadiq' and 'Ameen' and according to Article 62, 63, he can't be the Prime Minister of Pakistan. He must be held accountable.
