Breaking | PAF kills up to 105 Uzbek terrorists including the Karachi attack mastermind.

hello sir

If there is no credible information (read indian involvement) means, there is no truth. I don think India as a nation would support any type of terrorist (even if it suits it or not) because we have a life example in front of us.

Yes we may not require 3 embassies/consulates for 3k indians.... But then we have lot of investment made in Afghanistan, and there is lot of work is going on there.... so these embassies are needed. Yes there could be another use of them, we have lot of stragetic assets at loose, may be a check on them is possible thru this agencies....

Note : I dono if this is an appropriate subject to discuss here....(im up for a discussion if needed, in any other thread)

Sure. But a quick recap on your answers.

1) Embassies are needed for developmental work and checking up on strategic assets.
2) India as a country does not fund terror networks because pakistan did that and is paying the price.

You can open up documented history written by your own people to get the answer for the second whereas the first one should be documented under operations of embassies guide book.

WOW. That must have been either one big gathering, A few more tickets to the plains of hell. Many more are required. We need those strikes and we need to kill as many as possible and show them what awaits at the other side.

.
PAF has normally been hitting them in dawn to dusk strikes, they all get together at night for their meetings and drawing plans for next day, this time PAF showed it's night strike capabilities when these scumbags were least expecting an attack. Many of them were toasted when their ammo dumps were hit. This time those who survived didn't even bother to take the bodies of their dead colleagues.
Oh cool 150 militants got together at night an PAF knew about it... that is some serious intel work... good job... hopefully PAF carries out many more such jobs...

.
Then may be govt knows someone else is behind, not the one you believing to be

That argument could hold merit only under the circumstance where the Government was actually sincere with Pakistan. Unlike India, Governments or rather the 200-300 families that have an iron grip on the so called democratic Governments in Pakistan are not accountable to anyone......these are the families that have very strong allies in the west that come to their aid whenever there is a Military takeover and the 200-300 families reciprocate the favours when they are in power!

Actually it wasn't a nice round figure of 150 as quite a few were seen escaping to Afghanistan in a hurry leaving their dead colleagues behind. The intelligence must have been provided by the concerned agencies some of which may have come from the arrests made after the Karachi attack. PAF works in liaison with the ground forces.

with this many terrorists killed it shows that Pakistan's intelligence service is one of the best in the world..

does anyone know if Pak army is using the new Russian helicopters in this operations? @Windjammer

100 people or Terrorists???? :what::what::what:

What you call those women/children living in terrorist hideout? People or Terrorists?

@Topic

Well Done, but would be better if they catch some culprit (big fishes), and force them to spit out the names of the supporters/financiers. Show the names of these guyz on the media. We need to fight this Next Gen war from Next Gen tools. Never the less, it is always pleasant to see removal of the garbage from our planet.

I doubt a 150 .. the terrain and their own rather astute common sense does not have them gather in such numbers. What it might be is 50 people with membership to the TTP or Uzbeks..==. The Terrorists kept their families and that of other non involved tribals(willingly or unwillingly) close specifically early on to act as human shields since initially PakMil refused to fire on them if seen with women and children(as I heard on one occasion though.. some of these "women" picked up a RPG and fired!). However, trying to prevent collateral in human shields was getting ever impossible, so after a general amnesty for non-combatants is declared, there is no choice but to go in. Because in the end, (sad as it is) it is now a clear no holds barred us vs them scenario and if you have a high value target whose presence means many more deaths ala Karachi or Suicide bombers.. then regardless of his(or any other militants) family around, you kill them.

The alternative of sending in troops and then having them try and pick out targets not only has a much lower success rate, it also has a much higher loss rate for them; something which directly affects morale. So, while the utmost efforts are made to ensure that collateral damage is avoided there is always the need to kill the local "OBL"s. And if unfortunately his wife or kids try to defend him or allow him escape, then their lives in my view are cheaper than the potential hundreds that man could kill later on who have NO relation to him. An innocent tribal who only minds his day is going to be killed by this "OBL" later on on petty disagreements... or people in cities or other places.

P.S

Human shields are an age old tactic. Be it during WW2, Cuban revolution, Palestine, Kashmir or here. Efforts are always made to avoid their deaths and the effectiveness of these efforts depends on the will of the local commander and the orders from above.

I don't believe the Russian gunships have even been received yet however news reports suggest that fighter jets bombed the area and for night strikes, PAF most likely used F-16s to drop LGBs.

The order has not even gone through yet.

The PAF knows about it via the Army. The Army knows about it via a combination of HUMINT and Eyes on Recon. Sometimes the Americans also chime in with their surveillance.. not all is mistrust and hostile intent between the "allies"

It is sad to read that women and children were killed in the air strikes but then not all the females are innocent and are quite capable of wearing suicide bomber vests. Children are brain washed and follow in their Fathers footsteps. Good work Pakistan!!
