Breaking | PAF kills up to 105 Uzbek terrorists including the Karachi attack mastermind.

Why PAF / ISPR is not showing footage of strikes? it may be very helpful to quite those people who say that civilians are killed instead of terrorists.

To be honest after that Karachi airport attack and the way one of my friend's friend was killed in that attack. I don't give a damn if they are killing civilians or terrorists. I just want action in those regions against those terrorists.

ISLAMABAD/PESHAWAR. The mastermind of the Karachi airport attack, Abu Abdul Rehman al Maani was killed during the overnight air strikes carried out by Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter jets and the Pakistan Army jointly in North Waziristan early morning Sunday, military sources told Dawn.com.

Intelligence sources say that Abu Abdur Rehman Almani is considered a key commander of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, also now famous by the name of Islamic Movement of Turkestan. The military has not identified the other terrorists killed in the jet bombings.

There are also reports of some East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM) terrorists also killed in the strikes, considered as a big blow to the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the ETIM network in the North Waziristan Agency.

The East Turkestan Islamic Movement is a separatist militant outfit blamed for numerous terror attacks in China’s restive western region of Xinjiang.

The Chinese government had recently pressed Pakistan to take action against the Uighur separatists based in North Waziristan.

The movement's principle aim is to establish an independent Islamic state called East Turkestan.

The Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU), an organisation of militants mostly from the central Asian Uzbek state, had claimed that its suicide bombers carried out the attack on the Karachi airport.

On Wednesday night two US drone strikes hit the region killing at least 16 in the first such attack this year. Pressure builds for a fuller response to the Karachi airport assault, which was joined by militants from Uzbekistan. AFP quoted residents and officials in North Waziristan's main town of Miramshah as saying the majority of foreign and local fighters had already left.

"Most of them have gone deep into the mountains towards the Afghan border,” a senior security official told AFP.

The locals said militant groups were also seen escaping from villages that are a known hub of the dreaded Haqqani network, an Al-Qaeda affiliate known for its spectacular attacks against US forces in Afghanistan.

TTP offers talks as Jets pound NWA

MIRANSHAH: Outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Sunday said that North Waziristan Agency (NWA) was being targeted by the Jet fighters bombings, but the TTP was still serious and sincere for the process of talks like before, Geo News reported.

In a statement issued to media, TTP spokesman Shahidullah Shahid said that TTP started talks with all seriousness and sincerity in the larger interest of Islam and Pakistan and never adopted any non-serious attitude during the process of talks. He further said that all necessary measures including the declaration of unilateral ceasefire were taken for the creation of congenial atmosphere of talks.

He reiterated that North Waziristan was being targeted by Jet fighters bombings, but the TTP was still serious and sincere for continuation of the process of talks and added, “Our stand in this regard is like an open book.”

This sends clear message to TTP and all the other outlaws who think they are invincible . it is Pak Army's way of saying that we Know where you are any time any place & we can get to you when we desire .

There is a reason why TTP & its allies are running like dogs towards afganistan .

You people are sooo happy after your bombers bombed your own land :o: !!!! Just imagine the extent of collateral damage happened? Are you not alienating the locals by such attack where there is every chance of killing civilians too? You are sacrificing strategic objectives of Unity for the sake of achieving tactical objective.

Dont you think that your army should have courage to fight the extremists on land with more focused targets to protect your own civilians at Waziristan rather than apparently safe aerial bombing which kill many civilians and create many more permanent enemies? :cuckoo:

Even after tremendous pressure, Indian Govt refused to use air force helicopters to bomb the naxalites hiding in remote jungles. Army helicopters were used strictly only for logistics help. Along with many I thought too that it was a wrong decision seeing the casualties and violance of that time. But now I think the decision was right. Maoist movements are being tackled as law n order and social problem. Till now the approach is pretty successful as violence is reduced significantly. But if aerial bombing was carried out, it would have takene a civil war route which might have damaged seriously our strategic objective of "Unity"

Civilians died or not.
its their own fault for wanting to use them as meat shields.
they are no exception....
its the civilians fault?
have some humanity.
we don't want no civilians to die.
if pakistan has any info that innocent civilians might die then they should refrain from bombing the that area.
because if they do bomb knowing innocents will die then PAF will be no different from terrorists.
lets just pray it was all terrorists.

Mash'Allah this is an opportunity for the Pak Army to seize the moment and annihilate the wahabi pigs from the face of this planet!
The people and Ulema-e-Haq stand with the Pak fauj !

May Allah bless the Pak fauj through the intercession of The Beloved Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم ! Ameen!
not all wahabis are terrorists.
