Indian Killed After Shots Fired At Boat Off Gujarat Coast

A boat with Indian fishermen was fired at in international waters today off the Gujarat coast. One person on board has died.

It's not clear yet if the boat was fired on by the Pakistani navy, as reported by some media.

The boat, named Prem Sagar, reportedly had five fishermen and had set sail from the port of Okha.

The thing is what was the need for that ? Fishermen from both sides have been fishing on Indo-Pak borders for ages. The criteria is to arrest them and later release. Who in his right mind would fire at unarmed boat of fishermen ? They have entered in wrong territory here and India Navy has full capability to make this messy.
