Lol..I literally thought at first that he ran away ....hope Pakistan will blacklist all ghani officials ...

Probably their army chief surrendered to the IEA, and now they have to promote another Sergeant to General and declare him military chief.

Be it Wali Ahmed or haibat ullah. Kabul is going to fall . None in the ANA is as battle hardened as taliban.

Who wants to place bets on how fast Kabul will fall?

I'll start: 30 days, if it happens I will bring the fly in my profile picture back to life (he died waiting for an Ababeel test)
Very interesting times ahead no doubt .
Can't wait to see the final expression of defeat on the faces of afghan traitors and their indian masters ;)

The chief which is sacked today was appointed just few months back, as far as I remember.

He was suppose to take his first official visit to New Delhi to request military support and probably to make India agree to send some troops to Afghanistan.

Plz someone correct me if I am wrong

Not sure when he was appointed but he was forced to cancel his visit to India due to Taliban onslaught.

If AT adopt a rapid gain strategy then before the start of November this year (Note: personally I believe AT will adopt this strategy)

If AT want to gain political support from other ethnic factions of Afghanistan and to punish Ghani regime without violence then they will surround & blocked Kabul completely for winter season but would made attempt to seize it only at the beginning of Spring let say after mid of March next year.

Personally I don't think AT will wait that long.

MPs: Army Chief Focused on Rivalries, Not War

The army general was appointed to the post a month ago, replacing former chief of army staff Gen. Yasin Zia.

Findings by a parliamentary committee indicate that the newly appointed chief of army staff for Afghanistan, Gen. Wali Ahmadzai, has been focusing on rivalries with corps commanders instead of managing the fight against the Taliban.

The army general was appointed to the post a month ago, replacing former chief of army staff Gen. Yasin Zia, as the Taliban was taking over as many as a dozen districts each day. He was expected to lead the fight against militants, focus on training and equipping Afghan forces and to implement major military plans.
The internal security committee of the Wolesi Jirga, the lower house of Parliament, said that Gen. Ahmadzai has fallen short of fulfilling his responsibilities and that during his time he has been focused on rivalries with members of the army corps instead of managing the war.
“We hoped that the appointment of the army chief would lead to some progress, but unfortunately, he is focused on rivalries against those who replaced him in (previous positions). This is not the time for rivalry,” said Khan Agha Rezaee, the head of Parliament’s internal security committee.
