Irrespective of numbers anyone who believes a cow is god is clearly retarded.

As to anyone not believing in Islam, prophet , God in general it's their own business. Matters of faith are for the individual alone.

Ok lets look at this from another perspective - you are not allowed to abuse your prophet or God. Will you allow non muslims to abuse your prophet or God in your country.

For most Hindus, Cow is an incarnation of God on earth. Then why do you expect them to be fine - if you butcher an incarnation of their God ?

1. We are not allowed to allow non Muslims to abuse any Prophet. We may not be able to enforce it. But where we are able to, we do.

2. Hindus can take their pre historic sensibilities and shove it up their posterior.

No we should fight to implement legislation to make cow and human meat legal before we start consuming. Vigilantism and breaking laws is not the correct way.

I have met hordes of farmers during my social research. The biggest problem they face are stranded bulls who rampage the rural roads and fields. They are very happy to let the bulls get slaughtered.

Democracy and the constitution of India allows democratically elected representatives of the people to debate and make laws which may include the ban on the slaughter of cows.

While those laws are in place anyone doing the same is breaking the law.

The democracy also allows changing these laws in a democratic manner. If enough representatives of the people are elected who say that the ban have to be lifted then the ban will be lifted.

Every 5 years the people get a chance to elect their representatives. They can very well elect the people who will cancel this ban.

There is nothing to stop a political party to campaign that they will repeal that ban if they will come to power. just like there was nothing stopping BJP to campaign that they will ban the cow slaughter.

Fun Fact- Most cow slaughter banning laws were enacted by the congress. They enacted them but did not implement the same. The BJP govts actually started the implementation.

Agree. I have also met many people who await their non-productive parents and other senior citizens death who have become a burden on the family and the society at large.
