Perhaps Pakistan US relations would have been different under his watch if he were to lead as Head of state but Trump won and rest is history

Right now it is best both countries focus on our own internal matters

I think as a politician he had a pragmatic view , and he was aware of ground realities and like we know in US politics there are few who know the ground realities and others , who have a book they get their information from or memos , from outsiders.

He actually flew to Pakistan few times to meet face to face with people while no US president bothered to come to Pakistan

In end such limited few people or folks are sidelined while the ones who take orders from outside are allowed to control the office.

That is how things work in USA and it is what it is, 90% of politicians have no clue about ground realities

For someone who is 81 , he looked 55 , and easily fooled me rest don't know .. what to say one less rational person in US office.

Once again thank you for attempts to normalize Pakistan/US ties but I think US is lead by a moron presently , a real estate failed agent who went bankrupt many times but only to bamboozle the financial system to lend him more millions

Sen. McCain served his country regardless of the opinion one may hold about his service record. One may correctly point to Vietnam war and Iraq war as instances of moral failing. He was clearly no Muhammad Ali but still an intensely patriotic person.
