Srinagar: Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem has extended his support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir demanding the right to self-determination.

“Yes, we support Kashmir and Kashmiris who are fighting for their right to self determination, because it is only this that will achieve a legal and political solution,” Qassem said.

Besides this, Qassem also reiterated his loyalty to Pakistan for their assistance to the Palestinian cause.

“I want to tell you that we have seen Pakistan closely, and seen them supporting the Palestinian cause in total. It is this that has convinced us in letter and spirit,” he said.

Qassim made these comments, while speaking on the 32nd death anniversary of Arif Hussain Al Hussaini.

In the video shared on social media, Qassem can be heard saying that, Hezbollah stands with the people of Pakistan and will support them.

Hassan Nasrallah is the current Secretary General of Hezbollah since his predecessor, Abbas al-Musawi, was assassinated by the Israel Defense Forces in February 1992.

Much appreciated. Hope that Pakistan can work with Lebanon to bring some stability and help their country in their time of need.

It is a defacto part of the Lebanese government. Just because Israel and friends have proscribed it, it doesn't mean we should obey their dictates.

Pakistan should have an independent policy. If anyone supports us on Kashmir, we should reciprocate the gesture.

Also having relations with Hezbollah could help us stop the use of Pakistanis for Liwa Zanabiyoun.

Tomorrow if US bans all relations with iran and China, should we obey their dictates? Think outside of the prison created for us.

However, I am witnessing the radio silence of Pakistan's foreign ministry on this. No one ever came out and openly supported Pakistan on Kashmir like that. FO should respond with protocols but USAID is important ofc.

What!? Hezbullah is the only resistance that has courage to face off Israel. Look at the rich Arab countries. Despite having large armies, they cant do sh*t about Israel.

Its not that they have to fight Israel. Its taking a principled stand. Arab leadership does not even have that much morality to take principled stand. At the same Palestinian leadership is extremely corrupt and divided. This gives so much benefit to Israel to do their settler colonialism in the Middle East.

In this situation, Hezbullah and Iran are the only entities that take stand. When Israel attacks Hezbullah, it always get a retaliation that registers. How Hezbullah routed Israel from Lebanon in 2006 is a story of a legend.

Recent statement FM Qureshi about Saudis is a pointer to something going on in background. Imran Khan also mentioned back door diplomacy between Iran and Saudis to for a rapprochement. I see this statement from Hezbullah in that context.

Bhai you want Foreign Office of Pakistan to respond an statement by an individual from an organization ...... ???

I hope you know FO of sovereign countries respond only to other countries or the statements of higher official's of other countries given in official capacity, Hizb ul Allah is neither a country nor an official representative of any other country, so you would not find any official respond from FO of Pakistan. Now having said this I think we in individual capacity (unofficially) should acknowledge this statement
