Those who enjoys power from MQM ranks would obviously not change their loyalties but it would be interesting to see the stance of MQM if some of their traditional leaders and grass root workers decides to side with Kamal

. . . .
MQM fan boys will call him ghaddar.

just because he said remove altaf keep MQM. basically all fanboys are just ALTAF lovers not vision of MQM (if there is any then that is mustafa kamal vision)

Heard Bhai is too angry these days, needs to cool down on the Alcohol intake and use his brain. Another Establishment sazich. Expect something big this summer as far as Money laundering case is concerned. Did you see Sarfaraz Merchent's interview? quite startling. Enough documented proof present, slow progress by British authorities is quite pointing. Time will tell. Expect a similar response from our MQM brothers, don't say i didn't tell you.

No mate, there is a different now in MQM between A.H loyalists and MQM loyalists. A.H wants to take the party down with him, which is unfortunate because MQM showed alot of promise in its early days.

These kind of shenanigans of propping one leader against another has not worked and will not work....it always results in unintended consequences.
Remember even Altaf Hussain was himself nudged on by the very same establishment.
Its laughable really the state playing these games within the country.
Those who really call the shots need to get rid of the mentality of the British raj....if they want Pakistan to work then just focus on implementing the rule of law.

I think British establishment has not yet decided to sack AH. They would not like to loose influence in Karachi.

The former Sindh health minister said he pleaded several times to the MQM chief to stop the politics of killing people but to no avail.

“The politics of strikes devastated the country’s economy,” he said. “Today everyone knows about Altaf’s links with RAW. I don’t want to say anything to any MQM member but I request Altaf to stop having innocent people killed.”

Resignation from Sindh Assembly

Dr Sagheer, who was elected from Karachi’s PS-117 constituency in the May 2013 general elections, also announced his decision to resign from the Sindh Assembly.

“I apologise to my voters because I failed to serve them and announce to resign from my post as MPA,” he said, while ending his 28-year-long association with the MQM.

Meanwhile, Kaimkhani, who made the sudden return to Karachi with Kamal, has promised to break his silence soon.

“I am keeping quiet for a certain reason,” he had told The Express Tribune in an interview on Saturday afternoon.

Kaimkhani was associated with the MQM for nearly 30 years before he left the country in October 2013.

Earlier on Monday, PTI leader Faisal Vawda spoke to Kamal over the phone, Express News reported.

Both leaders expressed their resolve to work together to end terrorism and corruption from the city.
