Sadly 100% correct. The forces are INCAPABLE of responding to the aggressors who have sanctuary in Afghanistan. We need ZERO tolerance. Anyone involved should have their family home demolished, relatives wiped out, lands taken by the state and the mosque they attended (plus the mullah) leveled.

If Pak Army does not strike in kunar and nangarhar now, we should better disband this army and elect zardari again. He and Rehman malick could nego with the terrorists for some deal.

The army has consumed more than its share of resources. It cannot secure our people. It has failed in this regard. Nukes are useless, missiles too. We cannot weed out radicals from our cities. We should just give in - give them what they want or give them FATA in return for peace in Pakistan!

If the pay off was peace and skoon for the common awam, then that may be worth it.?The forces have totally failed. This is the 10th year and we cannot suppress this monster. We made a huge blunder backing the anti Soviet forces in the 80s and then the Taliban in the 1990s. We started a fire and it has burnt our own house down!

Communist is better than Islamist. Our state apparatus was basically Islamist from Zia through to Musharraf. That is 2 generations of leadership who trained and nurtured these monsters. After 2001 and especially after Lal Masjid they turned in on us. We need a Chinese system - 1 state party, control. No democracy, no mullah-ocracy.

Ideally I agree, we should kill them all BUT the truth is we can't. They are too strong, too wide spread, too slick for our forces and too determined. So we have to take a new track. The options are perpetual loses or to basically surrender on somewhat decent terms. Time to accept defeat.
