Good but still our response is limited to chasing foot soldiers in Pakistan. The scumbag Noor Wali Mehsud who is head of TTP just gave interview to CNN. We have to hit TTP hard in Afghanistan and also BLA, BRA and others along with hitting their abba India.

That would be a mistake and it may ensure we either stay on FATF grey list or be relegated to the blacklist.

We will have our opportunities against India but for now patience. For TTP, denying them safe havens in Pakistan while hitting them covertly in Afghanistan is the path forward.

I know, I’ve reiterated that before too, PA and PAF have MRAPs serving in areas where there’s no threat of IEDs and I’ve no idea why. Even if they don’t have enough, at least all of them should be serving in this region. There should definitely be no soldiers in Hiluxs in these areas, only armored vehicles and MRAPs, it’s pure incompetence on the part of some seniors.

My point was that The message says they blew up the MRAP and the soldiers inside it were martyred, (Wether it is true or more likely just crap spread by TTP aside), if this detail wasn’t presented, everyone on the forum would be cursing and crying about why our soldiers don’t have MRAPs. While they will surely save lives, my point has always been that the only true way to ensure the security of troops is to fix the root cause of the attacks and actually end them altogether, because at the end of the day even MRAPs can’t bring our casualties down to zero. But most don’t understand that and start saying I’m justifying casualties. People on this forum have a habit of complaining about MRAPs and PAs COIN tactics more than they do about the people selling out the country to our enemies, the politicians and mullahs misguiding people and the traitors not paying taxes and not helping the state in any way (which to me are major causes of said attacks).

Bring back (ask him) General Tariq Khan or one of his best protégés and have him/them draw up a plan to get all the tribal leaders onboard keep each of their areas peaceful and deputized to capture or kill any miscreants they come across. Should they require assistance, the PAF and PA can be on standby. Preemptive planning is a must, especially as TTP and their backers are looking to cause chaos on our side of the border.

Many who do not understand the dynamics of conflict on the Western flank of Indus are laughing at what you said. I think you are spot on there. Talibs are not trustworthy and the reason for that is our own double game with them post 9/11. Pakistan does not enjoy the same relationship with TTA as it once did.
