Brave Karachi Girl exposes MQM

. . .
This thread should be deleted, cause it brings only hate among pakistanis!
Cause its bassed on hate against a particulr political group & a area?
Let's not forget how many grils & womens been gangrapped or rapped in political party,s offices in other parts of pakistan PTI is one hell example?
Also if fairly collected the statics thn surly, one will get the numbers, how many womens are targeted sexualy in other parts of pakistan thn of karachi?
Political point scoring, will nt solve anything good for pakistan, calling names to each others on this thread shows how much backward we are?

Nonsense. You would have us stay quiet? Exactly the way we have been for the past 65 years? Greater crimes of others absolve the one with lesser? Childish! I say collect the stats, bring them all out. Shout against everyone of these leeches. Hate them, hate them from the core of your hearts. Make your kids hate them, make your friends hate, make sure this hatred spans the length and breadth of Pakistan. Hate them so much that they cannot stand, cannot breath amongst us anymore. Hate them all with all that we are.

@AstanoshKhan:
Then its even more sad. One had hoped that this youth of ours would be free of senseless loyalties towards the wicked, that maybe they could see the folly of our elders. That Pakistan, maybe for once, would have someone loyal to it and it alone.

Hardly jazbati. Everything as practical as can be for this people. We are the ones who keep whining and yelping "What can we do? Aam admi kia hi kar sakta hai...". You can do this. You don't even need to leave your bedrooms for it. Reality, reality......it is always what you make it out to be. It is never a divine decree. Hate these leeches -> take their support -> watch them fall. The most unrealistic thing that a Pakistani believes in is that nothing is his fault and nothing can be done about it. In fact, everything is his fault and he is the only one who can do something about it. Great nations are not built by taking to the streets, they are made in ordinary people's minds. The way we think is the only thing that matters, everything else is reactionary. Reality, reality......we have chosen this reality for ourselves and then we bit*h about it. "In reality this cannot work"; we like feeling how intelligent and mature saying this makes us feel. But its always the lunatic that wins it all. The Jinnahs take it all. Once you let the people dictate there is no politics left, there is no maneuvering left, there are no constraints left. The absolute power of a country, for better or for worse, lays in the hands of the people. The reality is what they say it is.

It is funny how our people always accuse and ridicule the Arabs for being lazy, spoiled, feeling-less. Well they fought for what they wanted, they got it. I still see you sitting on your arse debating and decreeing what reality is.

Don't misunderstand me sir. Never pinpointed you out. Figure of speech throughout.

The paradox lays in the fact that the common man will keep on going hungry until he starts to think for himself. Until he sees whats right and reaches for it his children will keep on going hungry. It is exactly for that roti that he needs to do something. The common man is Pakistan, the change is his need and at his discretion. This common man still does not need to take to the streets. All he needs to do is think a little, see a little, change a little. The well fed will never solve his problems. We got lucky once, the next Jinnah is not coming. Waiting for him will be our demise. Little things is all we need. No revolutions, no rallies, no civil war. All we need is a change of thought, a shift of loyalties and allegiances from others to himself, his self that is Pakistan. As you have stated your self, the powerful have made it difficult for this common man. Their interests lay somewhere else. Whats left is exactly that common man. What we do fail to realize is that this common man is still with the power. The powerful ride on his back and he lets them.

Also, frankly speaking, the common man is no saint. His fault is not just of inaction but of collusion as well. He has leeched where ever he could have and continues to do so. And then we try to act helpless, pretend to be the victims. This common man votes for a moron because he knows that that moron will help him when his kid gets caught. We as a nation take pride in being above the law, we seek it, we love our contacts. This common man goes on to the streets following and protecting the interests of those who subjugate him. He will blindly fight for them. But when it comes to himself or Pakistan he claims powerless-ness. There are many many things that this common man indulges in beyond his need for roti.

Anyway, little things is what we need and none more easy than a change in mentality. Everything else is reactionary; it will follow all on its own, automatically.

But then he can't complain either. Unless he thinks he won't have food or safety, unless and until he chooses to become human from the animals that we are. This has become circular my good sir.

My only contention is that the change is us. The man is never going to give it to us. We have to take it. I will go as far as saying that, right now, we are the man. We need to become the people. The people that left, literally, everything that they had, paid in blood of their children for the country that we have today. We need to become that people before the need comes to make payments in blood again. We cannot wait for a messiah, he is not coming.

A wise man once said "a nation becomes great when its elders plant trees the shade of which they know they will never enjoy."

We don't need to be angels to fix this mess. All we need to become are constitutionalists. Take it on our selves. Small steps will still take us there. We were willing to eat grass to have the bomb for heaven's sake!

‘Three Cups of Tea’ co-author took own life: police

WASHINGTON: The co-author of “Three Cups of Tea,” the best-selling but disputed tale of an American mountaineer who built schools in Afghanistan and Pakistan, committed suicide, officials said Monday.

David Oliver Relin, 49, died November 15 as a result of “blunt force head injuries,” Tom Chappelle, a deputy medical examiner in Multnomah County, Oregon, told AFP by telephone.

Chappelle declined to give details, but confirmed that suicide was the stated cause of death on the death certificate just issued by his office.

Relin, a journalist who specialized in humanitarian issues, co-wrote “Three Cups of Tea” with Greg Mortenson, whose chance encounter with Pakistani villagers after a bid to climb K2 in 1993 led to him building dozens of schools, mostly for girls, in poor rural parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

It sold more than four million copies — and became required reading at the Pentagon as a guide for wooing hearts and minds away from the Taliban — until allegations surfaced in 2011 that Mortenson fabricated much of his story.

The CBS News program “60 Minutes” said many of the schools supposedly run by Mortenson’s charity had never opened, while others were deserted or operating without links to Mortenson.

Mortenson stood by the book, but in April this year he repaid $1 million to his charity, the Central Asia Institute, and resigned from its board after an investigation turned up evidence of “financial transgressions.”
