A loved-up guy has been fined for dressing up as his girlfriend to sit her exams, reported Mirror.

Ayan Zhademov’s girlfriend was too nervous to sit her exams, and nothing he did could calm her down – so the smitten 20 year old decided to do the test for her, wearing women’s clothing.

Exam invigilators in Zhetisai in south Kazakhstan only twigged that Ayan was male when they heard his deep voice.

The Unified National Testing is what students must sit to go to university in Kazakhstan.

Ayan went to sit his unnamed 17-year-old girlfriend’s test wearing a black wig, grey skirt and white blouse.

A spokesman for the exam board said: “We suspected it might be another woman that had taken the candidate’s place, but we never suspected it was a man that had taken her place. At least not until he started speaking.

“He tried speaking in a high voice but it was obvious then that he was a male.”

But despite Ayan being fined £1,400, other students were quite touched at the romance of his gesture.

Student Dariga Nesterova said, “It was stupid but very romantic.”

“Sometimes love leads us to do silly things, I wish my boyfriend was this romantic.”

But it’s not all doom and gloom, as a Zhetisai businessman has offered to pay half Ayan’s fine.
