If you don't know, Naf river is not any formidable barrier like Himalayas that people can't cross.Movement of peoples and goods are going on for centuries between Chittagong and Arakan.In most of the history, Chittagong and Arakan was even under a common entity. @Gibbs has no idea how many tens of thousands of Sri Lankan folks we have allowed to live and work in Bangladesh when their country was in turmoil, and still do. Compared to how Indians have treated Sri Lankans, we have been saints. The recent Buddhist led terrorist attacks on Sri Lankan Muslims are giving me some doubt in recent times. I always thought these were educated open minded folks.
