Nigeria is actually two countries cobbled into one ( Again in the infinite wisdom of europeans ) . Northern Part is highly populated muslim majority area , while southern part is christian majority less densely populated area . Nigeria is on the flash point of conflict of Islamic and Christian Missionaries and terrorists ( Interesting Southern africa is Christian majority leaving some coastal areas and northern africa is muslim majority ) .

I used to believe that maps like these would mean nothing in a new world soon, that people will realize that these maps that when humanities next generations will look at will laugh hysterically at the stupidity of the people who would care enough to make them, I now believe that this day might be further ahead than I originally thought, what would I give to live in those kids' world.

That day is very very far off man ... I had hopes that i will myself be witness to such events but now timeline is like horizon . You can only see it somewhere in the future but never actually reach it .

I guess all we can really do is close our eyes for a few seconds and imagine that world, where race, creed, nationality, political affiliation means nothing to anyone, and humans only care about one thing, each other's humanities. Where I don't get automatically judged for being a Saudi, where I don't get second looks for being an Arab, where everyone appreciates one another in this world.

Let's just close our eyes for a few seconds go to that world, despite knowing that when we open our eyes all we will see is blood, hate and murder. Is humanity hopeless? Or will the humans one day drop their guns and embrace the fact that we are all just the same in the end?

be careful, you might turn into an atheist with that way of thinking lol. I think the people of the future will laugh at our maps, wars, and even religions (like we make of fun of the ancient gods) but guess what? They'll have incredibly stupid maps, wars, and ideas that resemble religion as well, because that's just how humans are.
