This is why I always prefer Airbus when using Air Transportation, Boeing 737 have very bad reputation.
Very cold, could be sensors frozen giving false readings like air speed reading. Pilot didn't know, and plane stalled, pilot error mostly.
True. Lightening is nothing to jet. Every jet designed lightening safe. Almost every jet has dozens of lightening strike in 20-30 years of service.Aircraft get struck by lightning all the time and 737 NG has remarkable flight safety.
