On topic, even if this news is true, why the hell should Russia send them home with ships and not with one of their cargo aircrafts which have routine flights to Syria?

Let's be honest. Insurgents have NOTHING on Russian soldiers on the ground. This isn't Afghanistan where there are mountains. Syria is flat. There is no where to run no where to hide from 300 mm 90 km Smerch. Insurgents would get slaughtered and Russians would have 0 casualty on the ground.

i'm very honest , Russians will face hell .. can you imagine what Chychnya and Daghistan fighters did to russians before? these fighters a lot of them with experience moved to syria joined ISIS or Nusra ... thanks to Russian strikes i believe all these groups will unite to face them , we talk about ISIS with Chychnya fighters + Nusra (Al-qida) + Muslims brotherhood.

by the way muslim brotherhood has a deep experience since 1948 war , suez war and 1980 strikes on hamah.
