And those days are long gone in Korea, so that even a corrupt person would attempt to do anything stupid while in office. This is the power of full democracy, check and balance at work.

On the other hand, those days are China's today and tomorrow.

I expect a lot of dirt under Lee Myung Bak's rug will be exposed once he vacates office!

China will get there!

That's your personal opinions and I beg to differ.

So you think the railway minister who took $130 million and Bo Xiali who took $160 million will be the last corrupt politician of China? I don't think so.

Can you guarantee there will no more corruptions in Korea from this moment onward? I don't think so either.

Once again, he did shady things as a private businessman(He was elected into president's office siting his experience as a businessman who could boost economy), not as an elected official.

China will get there!
Sure, when the communist government falls and China becomes a multi-party democracy. When multiple political parties start monitoring each other and the press too based on their ideology(Leftwing papers monitor rightwingers, while rightwing papers monitor leftwingers).

But not until then.

No, I can't even guarantee that in the US. But nothing like the epic scale of corruption in China for sure, because the monitoring system doesn't allow it. You have dig a dirt on your rival? Save it and leak it right before the election and your rival is a goner! If you are a politician, why would you want to give any ammo to your rival to shoot you dead?

It is such that one parliamentary member sent his son to military conscription by hiding his illness even though he had a justifiable medical condition to get an exemption, because he was afraid of his political opponents using that as an ammo to attack him and getting into any allegation of draft dodging does bad things to a politician's career. Of course the son was discharged by the military a few months later for being too ill to serve.

- Jun Do Hwan : Corrupt <= Took $300 million, Court took back $200 million to date

An interesting trivia. The reason the court wasn't able to recover $100 million from ex-dictator Jun Do Hwan is that he spent that money to start the H-mart in the US, the biggest and the only national Asian supermarket chain in the US.

Both systems have their pros and cons. Live and let live. Time is absolutely inappropriate now for a radical systemic political change in China.

ps: plz dont pretend being korean. you must be either a hk right winger or dpp taiwanese!

This Indian dude need to see a shrink. This guy is a poster boy for obsessive compulsive disorder.

Perhaps it is better for him to vent his hatred here rather than roaming around the street of New York City with a saw-off. (borrowed)

It is the seventh-largest newspaper in the U.S. by circulation.[3] Its editorial offices are located at 1211 Avenue of the Americas, in New York City, New York. The Post is known for its right-wing orientation and sensationalist headlines.
