Bo’s ouster sparks protests in China

I have confirmed this, this is about the combination of 万盛区和綦江

There's no way this is about Bo's removal. The only spontaneous public defiance against government in China's recent history is 1976's Tianenmen incident after Zhou Enlai's death. Bo, no matter how popular he is, is no where close to Zhou Enlai's charm.

So the most powerful person in India is a white Italian waitress, followed by her son. :cheesy:

That's right. Even if you are an Indian PHD or Olympic athlete (what few there are), that doesn't matter. You will never match up to an Italian waitress. That's the cold hard fact.

that's right. That is why Britain ruled all of India for 200 years with little resistance.

That unfortunately merely highlights the education and access to information available to the Chinese. Britain ruled India for 90 years - from 1857 to 1947 and that of course it met with resistance - most people having access to information know that. On the other hand, the Chinese enjoy being ruled - even today they are ruled.

she is still white no matter whether she holds your passport or not.

ha ha..kiddo...its not your little kindergarten and white people already owned you guys...they bailed out your economy in past..dont hold so grudge against your white masters who is practically running your economy... now go and check FDI in China's economy...

Sad to see failures are ruling China.

They are not even Chinese Tibetans, what China's policy has to do with them?

Hum, at least we dont want an italian waitress.

Sigh - a Chinese's grasp of democracy. The most powerful person in American is of African heritage who grew up in Indonesia. But then when you live in a country where you have no rights - it is difficult to grasp the finer points of democracy and how it works.

Here let me educate you on the history of British India: Presidencies and provinces of British India - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

After Robert Clive's victory in the Battle of Plassey in 1757, the puppet government of a new Nawab of Bengal, was maintained by the East India Company.[12] However, after the invasion of Bengal by the Nawab of Oudh in 1764 and his subsequent defeat in the Battle of Buxar, the Company obtained the Diwani of Bengal, which included the right to administer and collect land-revenue (land tax) in Bengal, the region of present-day Bangladesh, West Bengal and Bihar.[12] In 1772, the Company also obtained the Nizāmat of Bengal (the "exercise of criminal jurisdiction") and thereby full sovereignty of the expanded Bengal Presidency.[12] During the period, 1773 to 1785, very little changed; the only exceptions were the addition of the dominions of the Raja of Banares to the western boundary of the Bengal Presidency, and the addition of Salsette Island to the Bombay Presidency.[13]

Portions of the Kingdom of Mysore were annexed to the Madras Presidency after the Third Anglo-Mysore War ended in 1792. Next, in 1799, after the defeat of Tipu Sultan in the Fourth Anglo-Mysore War more of his territory was annexed to the Madras Presidency.[13] In 1801, Carnatic, which had been under the suzerainty of the Company, began to be directly administered by it as a part of the Madras Presidency.[14]

Your wants are irrelevant in China. You don't have a right to choose your own leaders. Such rights are available in more developed and evolved societies - not in countries like Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone or China.

Yeah but Obama was BORN in America. You can't be President of America unless you were born there, remember that huge fuss they were making about his birth certificate?

Even in the land of immigrants, they still require that you are born on American soil. Jus solis.

But Sonia the white Italian waitress, was born in Europe. :cheesy: She is a European through and through, she does not have even one drop of Indian blood, and still she rules the entire country.

Let's stay on topic, this is not about India vs China. The web master just published rules today so he must've been monitoring threads closely.

Let me educated you my simple minded Chinese friend - the East India Company was a different entity. The British Crown was a different entity. The Company Raj lasted from 1757-1857; the British Raj lasted from 1857-1947.

India was a creation of the Western colonialists. They were the ones who united the many independent Kingdoms of the subcontinent, and created the entity known as "India".

"India is merely a geographical expression. It is no more a single country than the Equator."

She governs, not rules. She has lost elections - she has won elections. I am fine with being governed by a white person as far asit is I who choose that white person. I know these concepts are difficult for a Chinese person to grasp - but the fact is that the Indian public can either elect any person holding Indian citizenship irrespective of race, national origin, sex, caste or creed. Whenyou have that right - let me know.

I know you guys like to think that the White man is always right. But Churchill was wrong - he often was.
