Hefazat will also stage nationwide demonstrations against the mass murder of Rohingyas on September 16

Radical Islamist Group Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh has threatened to lay siege to the Myanmar embassy on September 19, if the atrocities against Rohingya Muslims in Rakhine state of Myanmar continue.

The Qawmi madrasa-based organisation announced the programme at a press conference held at Chittagong Press Club on Saturday morning.

While reading out a written statement, Hefazat Secretary General Junaid Babunagari issued the ultimatum.
He added that Hefazat will also stage nationwide demonstrations against the mass murder of Rohingyas on September 16, and that it would submit memoranda regarding the matter to both the United Nations and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation on September 21.

Denouncing the persecution of the Rohingya people, Babunagari urged international organisations to intervene and put a stop to the ongoing atrocities in the Rakhine state of Myanmar.

“The Bangladesh government should mount diplomatic pressure on the Myanmar government to stop the atrocities against the Rohingya people immediately. If the mass killing of Rohingyas is not stopped, Hefazat will hold a long march towards Rakhine state in Myanmar, led by its chief Allama Shah Ahmed Shafi,” threatened the Hefazat leader.

“Dubbing the Rohingyas as terrorists is a violation of human rights. They are downtrodden and persecuted,” Babunagari added.

He also urged for all to provide fleeing Rohingyas with any necessary support and aid including food and shelter.

“The Rohingyas gave us shelter during our Liberation War in 1971. Therefore, we should provide them with shelter,” the Hefazat secretary general said.

The press conference was attended by senior Hefazat leaders Tajul Islam, Foyjullah, Likman Hakim, Mainuddin Ruhi, Azizul Haque Islamabadi, Junayed Al Habib and Anas Madani, among others.

We will have to see if China vetoes any further U.N. resolution
that paves the way to liberate Arakan from the savages.

They will. Why do you think they did this again at this time when they had ample opportunity not to after seeing the results of the previous times they did so as well?

ARSA is now calling for a 1 month ceasefire hahahahaha....no support from anyone so they wussed out now after starting it.

Good job by Myanmar. @Aung Zaya ....show them no quarter (ceasefire is just their attempt to delay and gather more resources for next terrorist attacks). China and India are behind you all the way....more than enough international support to get the job done.

Each passing day makes the ingrate BD idiots here put conditions on BNP to vote for them, as though thats even going to matter past the vote rigging in next election in institutionally decrepit BD haha. They all retreating from the previous BAL-love + economic growth + BBS fairytale stories haha....because this reality check is just too big for them to ignore.

2 birds with one stone, MM gets rid of ARSA+ARSA supporting rohingya....and BD gets yet another major de-stabilisation internally....as BD gets shafted but cannot respond even feebly. There is going to be a big bloodbath within Bangladesh soon because of this reality check....you can count on it. May it last as long as possible....and consume as much as possible. Indian and MM should seek long term balkanisation of BD.

.
come on BNP you very well :) India loves to kill Kashmiris and BUrma loves to kill Rohingyas

. .
Other south asian countries live in garbaje bin and have pitful life. India have biggest gap between rich and poor. Few states are getting richer and most of states getting poorer. One would think poor states will take advantage of rich states but its opposite in India.

I can safely say Pakistani lifestyle is better off compared to Indians.
Is that why your people are running to india for jobs and health care ?

BD is ethnically homogenous you moron.
India and Myanmar are the ones heading
for Balkanisation.

PS - What are your thoughts on BD-India border clash in 2001 when
Sheikh Hasina was last in power?
